You didn't read far enough back in the recent posts. Some Apple UK orders have now gone into preparing to ship status. Not Wed or Thursday, but today. Yea, but my post still stands, which says you won’t see any actual movement until Wednesday night/Thursday, when the devices start moving from Hinckley.
I thought the whole point of this thread is to get excited together and stuff, checking orders status, “oh yours moved! Mine hasn’t!” Is part of the fun!!

Yep sounds about right. I would checkout the likes of John Lewis, Curry’s, Argos this Friday as I would suspect you may have a better chance. When I bought my AirPod Max I got them from Curry’s as they had them next day delivery with Apple online were quoting 3 weeks.

Only thing with me I would rather wait a little and have consumer rights with Apple than the likes of Argos, Curry’s, JL etc especially if you thinking of keeping it a number of years
Yep I've gone to John Lewis before so was thinking them. I'd not considered Argos though
I’m hoping Argos get the white magic keyboard as I get a small discount with them.
I am upgrading to the 12.9 model with O2. I ordered on 7 May (so I know I'm well behind everyone else). The feedback from O2 is pretty bleak as to when they will get any stock. Looks like it might be July before I get mine.

Makes no odds in the UK; if you buy from JL or anywhere else you can still walk into an Apple Store with it.
JL Customer service is outstanding; I'd be picking up Applecare too anyway. Wouldn't touch Currys or Argos with a bargepole mind.
I'd like to see the White KB in the flesh but it looks nice (as if I wouldn't be putting a skin on it anyway!).
I have to say though at £2000 for the preferred 12.9 1TB 5G 2021 model + keyboard its tempting looking at the sudden influx of 2020 1TB Cellular models being sold!
