I always think it's a bit dumb that they drop it off before the slot as people might have planned around being home during the slot time and would have missed it.

Useful as home server! My Intel Mac mini is going to replace 3 raspberry pi servers running WireGuard, home assistant, plex, tvheadend and freepbx.
Long weekend of tinkering ahead for me😀

Perfect for that. I‘ve been using them as a home servers for my family’s accounts for years, sucking up all their media and shared purchases etc and nice for home sharing for old ripped DVD’s. All stored on a OWC external 8 bay raid 5 backed up online to Backblaze for off site double safety lol. Works pretty nicely but this old i3 was struggling sometimes. The M2 mini will be the new server now, which I’ve just finished swapping everything over. Just need to the new Mini so I can move my MPB M1 Max into the second office….

it works ok - tried grid legends and it got hot but the fan didn't come on
All set up - bar need to tidy up some cables and think about positioning the inevitable dock/hub...

It's a Philips PHL 499P9 Ultrawide. Had it for years and is mainly used for editing on in Davinci Resolve. I have a secondary monitor I use as a reference monitor as it's not very highend or 4K at 5120x1440. But, I for day to day use it's perfectly fine.
Picked up at 16:30 from Apple Store, Westfield London. Yep that works. Computation station at the ready 😀
Think I've just found a bug.
USB-C to DP cable and it keeps momentarily waking the screen up then powering it down again.
HDMI and it seems fine. Light stays on, just like when powered up.

I had the same monitor for a few years loved it a great productivity screen. Passed it on to a family member so it’s still getting used.
