How do you know if your package is being sent by TNT or UPS?

I have a tracking number but can't see who the courier will be. Do you just try both sites with the number and see what happens?

Sorry if this has been covered earlier in the thread. Didn't see it.

It has the courier name at the bottom left of the "Track this shipment" page.

My order status just changed from "prepared for shipment" to "shipped".

32GB 3G, apple case and O2 sim.

What time did you order?

Ordered 03:30ish on the 10th, and recieved my confirmation email just after 13:00 on the 10th.

BTW.. My shipment has 2 tracking numbers......one for the iPad, and another for the case and sim......both with UPS.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember my 3GS was shipped a good few days before release day and held, then arrived on release day. However... this could be different because the release day has been delayed, and they have been out in the US for ages, so there's not the need for hype so much. I really hope I get mine early..! It says shipped UPS (UK) but no info from UPS websites.

The best bit about the confirmation email?

"We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 28.05.2010."

:)

Almost on it's way

My order, placed just before 5am, for a 3G + Wifi 32GB model, O2 sim and case is now showing on the Dashboard widget as 'Prepared for shipment' - god this is more exciting than the first iPhone launch!

I'm getting worried that Apple's systems have a glitch on my order. I got the "Your Apple Order W<...> Has Been Shipped" email yesterday and if I log onto my Apple Store account I see my order status as shipped but I can't even see how to get to a "Track this shipment" page.

The only option I have on the orders screen is the "View order details" button and if I click that then I see a bit more info on the left like shipping method is "Fast ship (EMEA)". My estimated delivery on the email says "We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 28.05.2010." but on the Apple Store pages it says "Estimated delivery:<blank>" although there is a 9 digit number underneath. I've tried the 9 digit number in TNT (UK & China-English) and in UPS but nothing recognises it.

Is anyone else seeing very sparse details like the above? Maybe mine is air-freighting from China and the proper tracking info won't go live until it gets handed over to someone like TNT when it arrives at some hub in Europe which, given it said it shipped on Saturday, will be tomorrow I hope.

My order just updated to Shipped and just received the email!!!
16GB 3G + Case
UPS
Can't track yet though apparently.

Excitement is at an uncontrollable level.

With the tracking widget, just to be clear, I've set it to

TNT (by reference number)

and entered the 10 digit carrier number, is that correct?

Currently showing "not found" but thats no surprise as I only got the shipping email from Apple in the last hour.

Oh, and great recommendation this widget, makes tracking much quicker.

How do you get the dashboard widget? Is that for Windows?
