Very happy with mine!

AS you can see - charged up to 96% last night then went to bed with full sleep/heart/temp tracking.. Woke up and drove an hour, did a 3.5hr hike using 3rd party app to record - cellular enabled and there was no cellular signal up there - then drove back home.

Display brightness is on full.

Basically used 25% with all that I did - couldn't be happier. My S5 cellular would be begging for a charge right now...

Mine is ok, I think it’s still settling in. 8.5 hours of sleep, lost 4%. 30 minute run with cellular and music (not streaming). I’m at 44% now.

Wow. That is some amazing battery life. Those 3.5 hours were GPS, I assume? If it is that is incredible. AOD on or off?WOD app?

Lost 7% battery in an hour. This isn’t looking good and won’t even last 15 hours at this rate. Any similar experiences or am I returning this tomorrow?
Received my Ultra yesterday. Was at 100% this morning at 7am. It's almost 7pm now and I'm at 84%. I've used it several times for texting, email, one phone call, and overall messing around. If you lost 7% in an hour there's someting wrong or there is an app draining. Even downloaded WatchTube and streamed a few videos.

From several reviews online I expect my watch to last three days. So far it's on track if it's almost 12 hours and at 84%. That's less than 30% per day.

Part of the difference is likely to be the strength of the cellular or even the wifi signal where you are located.

It’s been about 1.5-2x better than my SS7 after a couple of days of regular usage. While I appreciate extra battery life charging every night vs. every other night is not a big factor in my opinion. Now 4-5 days - that’s a huge improvement.

Battery threads are pretty much useless for the first few days of a new watch or OS update, but it is great so far compared to any previous Apple Watch.

(which is actually quite a low bar if we are being honest.)
Battery threads for fun product launches are like visiting family at the holidays during college and at the end of the long weekend you end up in a room with your elders who are discussing mortgage rates.

But for what it’s worth, I’m encouraged by the battery life I’m seeing.

I will report my battery life here, but it’s going to take me probably 4-5 days just to cycle it a couple times before I get a “real” feel. Until then…..

Took mine off the charger yesterday @ 7:15 am it’s now Sunday morning 4:00 and currently @ 71%. With my S7 I’d usually take it off the charger @5:00 am and when I get home from work @ 4pm it wold be about 50%. So far it looks like the Ultra battery is living up to my expectations.

I was going to start a new thread about the battery until I saw this one. For me it’s been amazing so far, I yet have to test it more though.

Yesterday at 10:47 it was at 97 %, today 25 hours later it is at 63 %. No workouts, always on display almost all of the time on, sleep tracking on and I used it quite a bit for answering notifications, paying, etc…

The regular Apple Watch would be like at 20 % or less, probably dead.

I am at 29 hours now and have 23% left. (Had a 1,5h workout and of course played a lot with it :), had it on while sleepling). Its OK, but I fear that it will not last me until I go to bed today, so probably not 2 full days for me.

For those who just got the watch, you have got to give it more than twelve hours, or a couple days. Use your new watch normally and monitor for a week, then report back.

Picked up my Ultra around 11am from the Apple Store Friday. It had 86% battery out of the box. Have worn it since then.. as of this morning. I have 7% battery left. Pretty impressive.
This watch will probably only get charged while I’m in the shower.

Day 3 - 30% at 44 hours since charge; so it lost about 12% in 11 hours.

Charged mine at 100% yesterday evening (10 pm local time), used it for sleep tracking. Now it’s 11 am, it’s 86%. Not sure if it’s great or not…

i was planing to charge it every two days so for me to keep his promise, it needs to stay alive until tomorrow 10 pm. I’m not sure it will make it

At that rate, 15% loss in 13 hours, you’ll be able to go 86 hours, or 3.5 days lol! That said I bet the screen was off during sleep etc. so I’m sure the battery burn will increase during the day so I would expect the burn to pick up quite a bit. By the way… you say you want to charge every 2 days but Apple has only claimed 36 hour battery life with normal settings, that’s a day and a half.

Day 3 - 30% at 44 hours since charge; so it lost about 12% in 11 hours.
Im currently at 38% charge and at 42 hours. Charged to 100% and started use after setup Friday at 2:15pm

2 workouts with Bluetooth HR band. Additionally, One GPS walk and one GPS run. Used for sleep for 2 nights now.

Usually, I would charge the watch while I shower, but have not done so the last 2 days just to test how long it can go.

Hoping to make it to 48 hours at least with more than 20% would be great.

I finally put mine back on the charger this morning. Not because the battery was low but because I wanted to see how much it would go up spending about 60 minutes on the charger.

I do know it dropped 39% over 33 hours, which I think is pretty damn good. Today will be a better test since I’m going to be spending time running errands and will be walking through a couple of airports.
