I did a full charge Friday night.
Start Saturday 5am with 100%.
30 minute walk in the morning, on cellular with AirPods.
50 minute run in the evening, on cellular with AirPods.
9pm it was at 30%. Wore it to sleep, woke up with 21%.
So 24 hour span took ~80% of the battery.
To be honest, I was expecting a bit more, given MKBHD's review where he did a 48 hour stretch, including wearing it to sleep twice, and doing 6 hours worth of workouts and finished with 20%.
But also - I would never have gotten this heavy of a day out of any prior watch, especially with cellular usage. On a given day, when running / walking while on cellular, I would absolutely need to top up the battery during the day. And even without cellular, I'd finish a 15-16 hour day with near 0 battery left (on my 10 month old Series 7).
Summary: was expecting a bit more, but given I charge at night anyway, I love the fact that I can go through a very heavy day of use without even needing to think about battery.
