I use the standalone version and it auto updates just like the store version. You can select the silicon version from the link below.

Seems the standalone version gets updated before the store version does as well. IMHO, I don't see the benefit of using the store version over the standalone.

Any news on OneDrive from AppStore?
Update out today but I have the stand alone one that’s why I’m wondering :)

"NeoOffice 2022 Professional Edition Latest
This is the first version of NeoOffice that includes a universal installer and that runs natively on both Silicon and Intel Macs running on the following versions of macOS:
macOS Monterey
macOS Big Sur
NeoOffice 2022 Professional Edition is still based on LibreOffice 4.4 so it should have the same features and behaviors as NeoOffice 2017."

At the moment, free in the App Store https://apps.apple.com/app/id639210716

Just switched over to apple silicon onedrive, now the only intel processes that are constantly running are whatsapp and a few inconsequential other processes, hopefully whatsapp update their app soon

how there isn't even news of an apple silicon whatsapp app is insane, it looks like such a simple app to port lol

Yeah I was talking to WABetaInfo and he said it’s still in very early development… For me the two only apps still running on Intel binaries are FB Messenger / What’s App and Citrix Workspace.

But what’s app uses 1GB of memory… it’s crazy.

Yeah lol it's not great, they should just recompile the existing version for apple silicon just to keep us going for now so we don't have to wait for their new app, although tbf ram usage is better than it was, i've seen it at over 2gb before lol

I downloaded the standalone version of onedrive .... :) It's very good. But, does anyone know, how does it update itself? :D

I really wish LastPass would update its my last Intel app.
I don't think i have that on my mac. I seen it start up once maybe, after install of Edge, after that Edge only updates on the background, somehow! :) Or when you hit about.

Sure? I have MS update for teams, OneDrive, edge and Skype.

Maybe it’s one of them that uses it I don’t know but I can see all of them in the update software.
Definitely sure, I have teams and onedrive standalone and I have the rest of the office suite from the app store, I don't have the microsoft autoupdater and both onedrive and teams seem to just update themselves
