Submit my claim about 6 hours ago.
Nothing yet - although I'm not in any particular rush TBH.
Don't be so silly. Its only the impatient few on this forum that are buying it as they cant possibly wait another day.
They obviously do have issues because of the reports of codes not working and the fact it takes so much longer than usual.
Don't forget that MR forums is full of crazy people who are very impatient and 99.999999999% of the world probably don't even know Mountain Lion is out
How do you file for claim?
Over 24 hours here also. I think this should be fairly easy for them to do. As long as you registered your Mac (serial number) when you first booted it up you should automatically be sent a code I think. The systems at apple should "just know" that these serial numbers belong to a system that was not available for purchase till after June 11th in the first place. Not to mention I am pretty sure most retailers scan the serial number when you buy a mac which I would think would send that info to apple as well!
Yea getting a little old at this point. 25+ hours. You'd figure buying a new retina would get you priority for an OS upgrade.
'F' the Up-To-Date program.
I didn't receive a download link or code by the time I got home from work (and ready to install), so I just bought it. I mean it's only $20 - I spend about that much on Starbucks on any given day.
For me, I didn't see the point in sitting around and waiting for days when the price is so low. Not saying others should do the same, just chiming in...
priority? why?
How large is the download?
Im asking because im currently in London visiting and while the internet speed at the office im working is great the one where I am staying at night is herrendous so I hope i get the link while t work so i can download it. A 73 MB file took me 5 hours to download the other day
