Interesting, I wrote Apple Support yesterday inquiring about the whereabouts of my key, and they emailed me this morning with the following directions:

1) Go to the Mac App Store.

2) Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

3) Under the Quick Links section in the upper-right corner, click the Redeem link.

4) On the Redeem page, enter your content code and click the Redeem button.

Unfortunately however, I can't find the "Quick Links" section in my Mac App Store window.

Anybody knows what's going on?
You actually have to have a key to enter into the redeem button.

How long did it take you to get that reply? I have sent my request for a refund in a few hours ago. Hoping for the same result as you!

Just sent my request in as well...hoping for a short response time. I'll update as soon as I hear back.

I applied for my code yesterday around 10am PST and until now I have not received an email. Good thing I said screw waiting and paid the $20 yesterday around 11am. Once I get my code i'll contact Apple and hopefully they'll be able to refund me the $20.

I still haven't received mine yet -- submitted yesterday at 9:00am EST in the United States.

Emailing them via express lane worked! They are refunding the purchase price. Go to express lane, and use the itunes section, then the billing/purchases subsection. Explain to them that you've had code issues and provide your serial number and order number for the purchase of ML. Got a response in about 45 mins.

I just tried that, hopefully itll work for me as well.

Well, it has been about 28 hours now since I filled out my claim form. I called Apple and they told me my claim was approved, I just still haven't received the email. He said he'd resend the email to me and I've still got nothing. I'm really tempted to just buy it. Is there a definite yes or no if I buy it that I'll get my money back or not? I'd hate to buy it and receive the code minutes later and be out 20 bucks. Any way for me to find out?

Getting slightly concerned here.

So it's been almost 30 hours since I submitted my Up To Date form to Apple. It says below in small writing:

Upon receipt of your completed order form and proof of purchase, a content code for OS X Mountain Lion, redeemable on the Mac App Store, will be emailed within twenty-four (24) hours of order qualification.

So... Am I ever going to get this 'free' ML? :/

Im not sure if this matters but when I did my form it was on a US site rather than UK which is where Im from. I clicked 'Req your copy of ML' on the UK site but it directed me to the US one. At the one number bit i didn't fill it in cos i don't have an american number :S

I am in the 24+ club. Sent the form about 26 hours ago. Around 6PM I thought I must have done something wrong, so I tried to re-submit and received the message that my serial number was already used.

Grrr, I have been waiting for ML because I made the mistake of using the migration tool to move all the junk from my old MBP to the RMBP. I have been waiting for ML to be released so I could do a clean install.

I laughed when someone else on the forum said they were going to pay the $20 because they were tired of waiting, but that was at 1 hour, at 1 day, I am considering the options too. If I cost average it, that is only $.75/Hour.

25 hours, nothing from apple!

I bought the MacBook Pro from their website, surely this redemption process should be automated and take seconds to verify

Not a great showing from Apple.

It's been over 24 hours for me as well. I installed ML on my wife's Air while I wait. Can't wait to see it on my RMBP. I've had two responses via email. Standard 72 hour window. If it doesn't arrive, email them again. Sigh.

Omg, I just received my second redeem code for ML, because the first one "already has been used". You know what? - the second code says the exact same thing. So now I have to codes with the same problem. Apple really has to step up the level of customer service they have been given the last couple of days.

I'm calling Apple as the first thing in the morning, that's for sure.
