I am not sure how someone who has waiting less than 40 hours gets theirs before me. I have been waiting for about 53 hours. I have tried to contact both uptodatesupport@apple.com and Express Lane.
Yay just got my code! Probably around 50 hours I would say. Looks like everyone should get there's later this evening or tomorrow morning. Good luck!
Purchased a MacBook Air (13" base) at Best Buy on 7/25 around 8:15pm. Submitted forms after I got home and set everything up. Don't know if any of that helps.
Finally got mine. Downloading it right now. Worked fine, but it was kind of a longer process than it needed to be.
Alright guys. Gave up and persisted to try again. Only took about an hour to get my code.
Go back to the site and click continue three times after it gives you the already submitted message.
Originally when I did it it did not ask for a receipt. This time it did and I took a screen capture of my apple store transaction and like I said ah hour instead of the two days I've been waiting...
If it doesn't ask for a receipt then tell it you bought it in the store. I honestly think the submission of a receipt was the key to getting it to work.
