Not to get everyone's hopes up, but it seems like some people are having to wait about 2 days instead of 3. Again, there are exceptions.
I'm an exception about 52 hours.
I submitted my first request on 7/25 around 9:45AM (EST). Submitted second request 7/26 around 10:00PM. Received good activation code this morning (7/27) around 8:45AM. The email with the code referenced the second request and not the first. If you have still only submitted one request, I would suggest submitting another.
Update: I got a second set of emails with the same code and also referencing the second request at 10:45AM today. I just got a third set of emails (1:45PM), but they actually referenced my first request.

ahh that was annoying, ive got Mail checking messages every minute and i went AFK for 2 mins, came back and there was '2' new. and it was just junk.
FINALLY, after 53 hours, i got my code (both emails, pdf and password).
I can't 'test' them until i got off work 4 hours from now, but .

Give me hope. I am at 52 hours. Only submitted once. No POP needed. Where'd you buy from?
Thankfully it only took you 31 hours too. I am almost a full day past that.
This worked for me too. Took about 30 minutes. Chose itunes - Mac App store as the product I needed support for and included my claim reference number. Downloading now. Much thanks!

I thought they would email it to me, like they normally do.After about two days (I dont really remember when exactly I put in my claim), I finally got my code. Its downloading right now. I wasnt really in a rush to get it, but I agree that its a stupid system.
Make sure your using the right code. Code in one email, opens pdf in 2nd email, inside pdf is code for redemption of mountain lion.
