Has anyone used Best Buy to trade in a device in the past? did the Best Buy trade in of my M1 when buying the M4. I noticed it stated after receipt of trade in in store it could take 7 days to update my total cost. Not a big deal. BUT, wondering i can keep my M1 home for a day or two to make sure i want to keep the M4 before trading it in and then I have none if i decide to return the M4. Does that make sense? I guess i can call BB support but figured I would inquire here first. Thanks!

They’ll probably just not give you a trade in value or take the trade in price back if they already gave it to you kind of how apple does it

I traded in a Mac after the fact, then realized you get a gift card.
So what I did might not be practical here...

1. Ordered online, paid
2. Traded in - at a store.
3. Got gift card.
4. Immediately "returned" the Mac, and "re-bought" the exact product/box/device (same serial number embedded in order/receipt) using gift card+credit card for balance.

(in my case I never opened the box, since it was never in my possession)

What do you think of the Otterbox case in terms of design, weight? And how does the stand work to maintain its angle position without magnets or grooves in the cover to rest in?

Over the weekend I was able to checkout and pick up on launch day at all 3 local stores but when I went to check out this morning, store pick-up wasn't even an option. Is anyone else having this issue? It's for all models.

Means they are out of stock for what they have coming or checked in. Orders placed for store pick up are using the store inventory only. Not your individual order delivered there to pick up.

Another in Apple Store pickup question. Will I get any kind of pre-notice prior to my official pickup time so I can have time to travel to the store and make my official pick-up time? Or do I go to the Apple Store without official notice (that the iPad Pro is in the Apple Store) and assume the scheduled pickup time is still valid

They always turn off in-store pickup during the pre-order phase at around 48-72 hours prior to launch typically. The last few launches, they have shifted to “in-store on MM/DD”.

I spoke with someone on chat and they said they see inventory in stores as available. All best buys around also show pick up for 5/15. I find it odd all stores all of a sudden ran out of stock over night lol. I guess I'll just grab one from BB.

You’ll get an email late the evening prior to pickup day, overnight, or very early the morning of pickup day for pre-orders. Generally, I’ve found it to vary based on store.

Has anyone ever successfully picked up a in-store pickup item early? I ordered my 13” pro for pickup on Saturday, May 18, morning pickup, however, I now have availability Friday to run to the store. I don’t see anything in my order details about changing date or time. I suppose I could call the store the day of and ask if they’d be able to accommodate it.

For in-store pick up, as long as you pick it up within 4 days of the item being ready to pick-up, you should be good to pick up early.

Thank you for the information. I wish my phone call to Apple could have clarified the entire Apple Store pick-up a little better. I suppose they don’t want to raise our hopes to soon.

Yes. Try to fit you in. May have to wait bit.

Coming back to tracking, anyone received any numbers lately? I am Wednesday delivery and I have not received any yet.

I’m in Australia and the Apple Store app still shows Preparing to Ship. However, overnight an unnamed shipment has appeared in my AusPost app with a shipment that arrived overnight at my local depot for delivery Wednesday.

looks like they are on time.
