Need tracking numbers. Good chance there has been a big drop shipment to u.s. and their waiting for labels in warehouse.
Still processing here, but noticed it changed from “We've received your payment information and we're preparing your order.” to “We’re preparing your order and will notify you when it ships.”
Ya. Same situation. $600 bad though? That’s a 1/3 price towards next upgrade/release. Feels better getting newer device sooner. Also hard to recoup on resale or trade in.
Not that it changes because it's hard to even make use of it but the 1tb/2tb also have a 10 core cpu vs 9 core cpu in the lower storage models.
I agree though, better to put that $600 towards a future upgrade or anything else really.
Well said. Unless you really plan to push your iPad hard, I just cannot see it being worth it. Don’t forget, when you upgrade more frequently, not only will you get more of a performance boost than the RAM and extra core provide, you’re also getting all the other cumulative updates. It’s much more economical to get the base model and upgrade more frequently.
It's been awhile since I've pre-ordered a new iPad. Do these usually ship via UPS like the iPhones, and will we be able to see tracking info before they land in the US?

yeah it comes either UPS or Fed ex..yes they send you a tracking number with an estimated delivery date..that is how it was for me when I got my iPhone and macbook..and someone has to sign for it but it depends on the driver, for my iPhone they left it on the doorstep for the macbook I had to sign for it

Well, i suspect that may have happened to me, as well. There was a mysterious extra charge added the next morning after my order was placed. I also received a Fraud Alert from my CC issuer. I decided to find out what the order was for, so I attempted to Chat with Apple Support.
That became a really long waiting process. So . . . having received multiple alerts from CC security, I disputed the charge and the bank immediately (& unexpectedly) cancelled my card and issued a new one.
Oh, and since all orders were cancelled, I had to reorder the item today. Still promises Wednesday next week delivery, though.
Sometimes i honestly think apple does this **** on purpose cause they think there costumer base much be loaded and maybe can get away with it.
Yes, that price is in CAD, but there is no order/shipping thread for Canada, so thought I’d just join you folks in the US.
Ya man, it’s a high-end product, costly of course but might as well if we can do it. This current iteration is my dream iPad from the color space black, OLED and landscape camera i couldn’t ask for more.
Oh, I’m certainly in agreement with you. I was questioning whether to wait until WWDC… but I figured I’d go ahead and do it now.
Preordered the Space Black 13" Pro WiFi 256gb for store pick-up on May 15th. I separately ordered the denim Smart Folio which is delivering tomorrow. I'll get the Magic Keyboard later when it's on sale at Amazon or something.
Very excited for the bigger (OLED!) screen size and to go from the A12X to the M4 (this is my first "M" anything lol). I had the 2018 11" iPad Pro for over 5 years. This felt like the time to make the upgrade. I turned that iPad into the Apple Store a few weeks ago for a $245 gift card that I used towards this.

Preordered the base model 13-inch iPad Pro, 256GB, Wi-Fi only -- replacing a 2015 (!) 12.9-inch Pro. Estimated delivery date was May 24th - June 3rd, but in-store pickup available on May 15th, so I opted for that.
My card got charged instantly on order yesterday AM. iPad, keyboard, Pencil all preparing to ship. The folio already shipped for Thursday.
I wish Apple ws more like Samsung in one regard. Samsung may announce a ship date, but if its ready earlier, they don't give a crap, out it goes.
