iPad Pro [US] iPad 2024 Order Thread

I was contemplating the 1TB model but I don't think I'll ever utilize 16GB of RAM nor the extra core processor. I certainly wont come close to utilizing the 1TB of storage.

Went with 256 GB 13" Pro.

Canadian here, but ordered two 256GB iPad Pro 13", and one purple 11" iPad Air. I don't think I'll need extra performance core on the iPad, so I didn't get 1TB one

I wasnt expecting orders to go live right after the event so I rushed to order my 13 inch while at work, later that day I remembered there was eduction discounts so I put in a second order for store pick up since delivery slipped a bit, unfortunately Apple refused to cancel my first order so I’m gana have to bring it in to be returned which is disappointing, seems like a waste.

Based on the insert for the folio for the 13, which arrived today, the iPad 13 is really thin. Noticeably thin, from the 12.9 M2.

Mine arrived today and I thought the same thing. Also, the denim color looks great, and as someone who previously had the 11" iPad Pro....this thing is HUGE. It's bigger than I expected lol.

Am I the only person who does not like the design of wallpaper for the new iPad ? It just doesn't speak to me despite of every other angles from which I'm looking... Although I'm blindly attracted to oled's breathtaking beauty, I am torn asunder by the conflicting desires of my inner monologues: "the siren's song of must-have whispers sweet nothing in my ear, while the voice of reason cautions me against the perils of covetousness and potential pitfalls of my new purchase's tears..."

I'm seriously contemplating getting a next generation device lol

Serious question for those ordering IPP

What do you use it for in “pro” work?

Or is this just buy the best possible available?

Since getting the 12.9" M2 three years ago, my laptop usage had gone to almost zero. I use my IPP for multiple "Pro" activities, including:

• Remote access to my Windows PC at work via VPN
• Editing my videos for uploading to YouTube using Adobe Creative Cloud iPad native apps
• Editing my photos before publishing them online using Adobe Creative Cloud iPad native apps
• Preparing documents (Word, Excel) using Microsoft 365 iPad native apps

Ordered mine through Best Buy for delivery on the 15th. Replacing my iPad 9 (with a cracked screen) with an 11” M4 iPad Pro 256GB. I went with the new Logitech case/keyboard instead of the Magic Keyboard as it seemed like it would provide better protection for travel. Super stoked!

I haven’t found any of the Apple wallpapers compelling for years now.

I think they are in transit now just details aren’t released I searched through reference with my phone number minus the last 4 and I see a package with a delivery of the 15th just can’t see the full details

I ordered the 11" 256 space black, with the magic keyboard and new pencil, now just waiting (not) patiently for it to say it's shipped. lol. I was going to trade in my M1 IPP but I love that thing so much, and with the trade in only being 385, I just assume keep it as a back up.

Crazy my M2 only got 480 for trade in. Would have expected a bigger difference. I may go ahead and keep mine as well.

yeah my shipping label has been created and the tracking is showing up, but no movement just yet.

If you chose Apple store pickup you won't get any tracking info.

I seem to be an oddball amongst posted orders.

I gave my iPad Air M1 and Pencil to my daughter last year for college not thinking I would miss it in favor of my MacBook M1, I was wrong. I am not sure if I'll get another pencil though, I didn't use it much on the Air M1 but the new one is intriguing.

That's the exact one Im thinking about getting. Already traded in my 2018 11 inch ipad pro got 235 for it just waiting for the back to school promotion apple does in the beginning of june so I can get a gift card or something..just not sure whether to get the 11 inch or the 13 inch will have to see it in store I guess

Yup no tracking for in store pickup. I got charged this morning, but it will probably drop off by Wednesday. We should get notifications on Tuesday that pickup is ready for Wednesday.
