My pickup order is still in "Order placed" status. I hope it doesn't stay there until the phones are in store...
It seems like this is the case for all in-store pickup orders. I assume we'll see some kind of movement before Friday, because what if someone wants to cancel their order? They can't unless the order is entering the processing stage.

You would be wrong. :). If you choose not to upgrade after a year, just finish making the 24 payments and you own the phone. If you want to join the program in a future year, you'd just join again from scratch.
I thought his question was assuming he bought the new iPhone on his IUP, and was wondering what would happen if he kept the old phone as well.

My shipping order still hasn't moved to "processing" yet, even though it is supposed to arrive Sept 24. I think the status are kind of all over the place right now.

For those who made their 12th payment earlier this week with Citizens Loan, were you charged the Early Upgrade Payment for your iPhone 13? I just noticed I was still charged $57 for that. I'm currently on the phone with Apple to see what's going on?

She's checking to see if the Early Upgrade Payment is for the iPhone 13 Pro loan...
Yup, I knew I shouldn't have made the 12th payment manually. The double payment will eventually be refunded.

My morning walk during leaf peeping season in the Rockies. I’m also a member of the “too excited to go back to sleep” club. Looking forward to the new camera, better battery life, etc. I know not much changed 12P to 13P but still, yay for new iPhone! 🎉🎉🎉

Are we out of luck with the missing cash back for those of us forced to remove our Apple Card to finish our order? Anybody have luck getting corrections on the payment you used? I’d rather it charge the Apple Card and they are acknowledging the outage…

Standard iPhone 13 128G Midnight ordered at 8:15am while lunging my horse. 9/24 Delivery since it’s not A high end model.

I'm picking up at store and my order changed to "Order in Progress"

So, just to follow-up -- I did just get two authorizations on my Chase card for the full amounts... 3+ hours after pre-order.. One for the phone and one for the case -- so I guess I'm all set for 9/24... FWIW, I ordered the 128GB 13 Pro in Graphite along with the Sequoia Green leather case. Status also changed to "Processing"

I ordered at 5am and there’s still no pre-authorized charge shown on my card yet. I used Apple Pay with my Chase Sapphire linked to it. I also received a confirmation. My case says processing, but my 13 PM still shows “order placed”.

only a matter of time I suppose.

Preordered 13 Pro 128 GB at 05:26 AM PST - card charged and now Preparing to Ship.. scheduled for launch day delivery
Curious how already preparing to ship. I got out by 5:05 and still just processing. Not a big deal since it has the 24 date so I am sure it will ship on time. Seems for me every year it stasys it processing until just before it is delivered even though I can track by reference number and I get it on time

I did the trade-in offer + $500 credit from T Mobile but it made no mention of the T-Mobile credits when I checked out (fast way)
I talked to Apple yesterday about how the T-mobile rebate will work. They said when you receive your new IP13, you will receive a link to go to T-mobile, put in your phone # and new IMEI number and you will be setup for the credit which I believe will be a service credit spread over either 12 or 24 months.

Too everyone who said they had trouble trying to use the  card with IUP, well yeah it’s because you can’t use that as a payment for IUP!!

It’s because they offer the 24 months financing with the  card so it’s a conflict of interest with IUP because that program goes through Citizens One.
Well. You don't know what you are talking about. This is horrendously incorrect. Did you just make that all up?

What are "fraud/fake" orders?
My guess stolen cards shipping to random locations to try to evade police detection. Also probably people trying to get around the device limit by using multiple cards, cards that were created with false info or identity theft.

Yes. It was a glitch, for sure, but the charge was placed on a different card. Therefore you'd get whatever cash back if any you earned from the card you used.
