Correct! Once you see it’s landed in KY. Make that phone call to UPS and make it happen before it hits the destination scan. The UPS system will flag it.

Do I have to have it on the 24th? No. But as a member of the upgrade program I expect better than those who aren’t. After the foolishness is over, I’ll buy a phone from Best Buy or somewhere, and pay off my 12PM and give it to a family member.

Likely done with the upgrade program.

Yeah almost there, but since phone wil be here in 3 weeks or under will wait I wanted the camera features and 1TB which was rumored last year so will stay one more time but I wrote this elsewhere to another person and I am so close to what you did:

I decided to head to Delaware to grab it and get some gas while I'm there

Did you get your new phone through the iPhone Upgrade Program? If so, the eSIM will come preinstalled, so all you will have to do is turn the phone on. It does require a Wi-Fi network to activate, however.

I’m starting to get pissed now, been preparing to ship, ordered 6 minutes after preorder time and using track by reference I can see what I assume is the is the phone and apple has shown delivery by Friday. Wish UPS would help but they can’t do anything without a full tracking number which I need. Sucks my choice has been useless I’ve even tried to make sure everything on my address checks out. Wish check by reference wasn’t useless.

Sheesh! I remember last year we were all looking for the option for a CC hold and pick-up. I wound up having to go to the main hub out by the airport, and they didn’t open until 6pm! At the time, I was able to call and arrange for a hold and pickup. Who knows what they are doing this year.

No, I’ve been having the same thoughts all afternoon and evening! I’m so excited for Friday! And reviews on Tuesday or Wednesday

Oh it was a silly poll on my part to ascertain the demand for 1TB models and colors, it did show (a small sample set of folks responded) So far Sierra Blue and Graphite dominate over 90 percent of those who responded and a third of the the graphite and other 1TB people who responded are stuck in later dates.

I’m having mine delivered and I was charged about 30 min after placing the order Friday

No need to get pissed. As long as Apple has you scheduled to get your phone by the 24th, it will happen. There have been years that UPS never updated their site and still the phone was delivered on the promised date. Also, it can take a few days for UPS to update its system.

Yes I’m having similar thoughts. There seems to be no advantage to the program anymore, in fact this year it was a clear disadvantage. The first year of the program there was no preregistration, so by the time you finished paperwork shipping dates had already slipped. Apple tried to help later but it led to preregistration which became an advantage until this year.

But now there is no advantage to the program, just commitment to Apple with no return commitment from Apple.

I’m being dramatic lol, still get it’s coming just sucks can’t see any real tracking info always fun to see where it’s going and such.

Like many, my order Friday was late because of the iPhone Upgrade Program and Apple Card issue. Once I was finally able to complete the order my delivery date was October 6-11. That was changed to September 24 yesterday and I just noticed my credit card was charged. Hope everyone else who had a delayed order can get theirs also on Friday! 🥰

Well, both my wife and mine shipped. I am in the 4:50 scan group. Both tracking numbers automatically showed in my UPS choice. Ironically...the case that Apple says actually shipped has not generated a label yet. My Apple card has been charged my monthly installment for the case $4.90, but my charge for the tax and apple care for phone have not yet.
