This is the error I am getting. However everything is correct. T-Mobile says it’s not on their end.

question were you previously using a Sprint sim then switched to a T-Mobile 5G sim? i got that same message but had to go back and select Sprint network and enter my phone number and area code. was sent a code to enter and was able to proceed. hopefully this is what is happening in your case too.

i was so tempted to boop but the 512GB i’m using now i have 480GB available 🥴. what would i do with 1TB 🤔
Uhh, it’s 1TB. First one to introduce in the lifetime of an iPhone family. 😂

Basically unlimited storage, Unique model and the best smartphone is the game.

So I don’t think I‘ve ever seen the option to “connect on your own later” when choosing the phone/carrier. If I choose connect later, are we able to still activate with our carrier? I’m on ATT and always choose ATT but interested about this option now and maybe can pop the sim in from my 12 or still ESim activate without choosing ATT option during the order….

Yes, you can insert any sim and it will work. It basically means it’s unlocked.

That’s my intake. Someone please confirm this.

Thanks for everyone's help! I've been pre-approved too now. For any AT&T customers, did you see this screen? We won't be given physical SIM cards now? I just checked my iPhone 12 Pro and it has a physical SIM card. Hope this doesn't cause any problems! ?

I saw this too. I’m a bit concerned; my partner and I swapped to esim before a trip abroad, but a few months after returning, he had to go get a physical sim because his phone started losing service randomly. It was a known issue at the time. This was with the 11 pro max, so it’s possible the has been fixed. Just makes me a bit weary.

All set for my pre-order! I do have a question for those that have Verizon... on one particular page, it said that the new iPhone models activate on eSIM and will not arrive with a physical SIM card installed. Sounds like I won't need a physical SIM card in order for the 13 PM to connect to the cellular network. Although, it sounds like I will need to use WiFi to set up?

For anyone else curious, I found this on the FAQ page when going through the preapproval process. It sounds like anyone who gets an iPhone 13/13 Pro direct from Apple (other than the SIM-free model) will not receive a phone with a physical SIM inside, but will instead receive their phone with an eSIM preinstalled.

I’m doing 1TB. Not really sure why, as my current 256 is just over half full. And if any of the recent rumors end up panning out for the 14 Pro, I will probably upgrade next year. As much as anything, maybe I’m hoping availability for 1TB will be decent since most people don’t need that much space.

to me it sounds like “connect later” is just implying someone chose a SIM-free iPhone

So it doesn’t contain any SIM card? However when it’s arrived it can be activated under any carrier, correct?

After growing up never being able to choose white-colored items because “they’ll get dirty,” I have adamantly chosen white iPhones for years to make up for it. The one year I strayed from white to try the gold iPhone 6 Plus, I regretted it and swapped the phone the day it arrived. Well, I’ve decided to get the Sierra blue because I was in awe of its beauty every time it was shown in the keynote. I really hope I don’t regret it 🤞🏻 I was thinking if I really didn’t like it, I could slap on a white silicone case. Nope! No white cases, just icky-colored ones.

Sup y’all!!

So I know I’m going to get a 256gb Sierra blue but I’m torn between getting a Pro or the Pro Max.

I really want to keep this phone for at least 3 years as I’ve upgraded literally every year since 2007 and I’m getting upgrade fatigue.

I really love the size of the Pro as I can use it one handed pretty easily and I love the way the wallet attaches it.

I went and played with the 12 Pro Max at the  store today and it’s so chonk!! LOL.

My question for you guys is if any of you that have the MagSafe wallet how is it using the phone with it attached and anyone able to use it one handed at all? LOL.
