I set up my pre-order in the app, but will try through the site first for the discount. All bases covered, just in case.

QQ: The dimensions on the 13PM should be the same as the 12PM, correct? I just bought a couple of cute cases for my 12PM that would look good on the Sierra Blue too.
I don't think the case will fit. The iPhone 13 is thicker and heavier than the 12? Per this article, it's likely your case for your 12 won't fit. https://www.macrumors.com/2021/09/14/iphone-13-models-heavier-thicker-than-iphone-12/

Went gold max again. It ‘looks’ a little more gold than last years gold, and ordered the marigold silicone case. Still have a weathered leather California poppy case from last year that looks more like orange. I thought was going to do black, but graphite is Not black enough.

so when I wake up tomorrow, just 215 hours til I go to my local UPS hub for pickup…….not that I’ve thought about it or anything! 🧐.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not. Those of you who are members of the Apple iPhone Upgrade program, and regular Joe's on the street can start the pre-order process since earlier today with no problem.

However, those of us who served our country (military) can not do so, and still receive our 10% off. If we want to save our 10% we have to wait until Friday at 5am PST. And then start the whole pre-order process. Which means that we (I) will be waiting longer than a lot of people.

Yes, if you have cheese, send it. It will go just fine with my whine(ing). lol

i couldn't resist the new case colors...that Dark Cherry had my name all over it...and then it was a downward spiral from there ?
I ordered a Midnight Silicone case for my 13 Pro Max, I might need to check out the other colors available; I haven't been crazy about the leather ones in the past, but I might check them out, as well.

Can't even register. So I don't know what the issue is, Whether its with T-Mobile or Apple. But I like to get my approval in for the IUP.

Upstate NY . Was FL.
Most banks allow you to call them so you can inform them of an upcoming purchase.
I don't like calling banks up 🤣 I'm thinking because I've used the same card number before multiple times with apple purchases then it will be ok. I forgot about that aspect when posting originally.

that is my understanding. all the new phones (through the big 4 carriers) other than the SIM-free will activate on eSIM instead of physical.

Not sure how I feel about it. Or am not sure I understand. :)

With GSM carriers, you could just swap the SIM card from the old phone to the new phone without calling the carrier and/or using the website to activate, correct? You could just swap and your service would work just fine on the new phone, right?

With the eSIM, how would that work? Would it work out of the box, or would you have to contact the carrier to activate said eSim?

They do. That's an old article.
Yes, that is correct. AT&T started supporting eSIM back in 2018.

So, I should be ok placing my order for the "Connect on your own" option? Since AT&T supports it?

I don't have any problems or hick-ups activating my iPhone, LOL. That's the worst!

Anyone know of any back screen protectors for the 13 pro Max that are NOT tempered glass?? I like having those to prevent dust and dirt and what not on my iPhones. Couldn’t find any on amazon or eBay

I’m part of the upgrade program through apple.

last year there was several months delay for the new iPhone, it didn’t come out until November. So people on the upgrade program had to pay an extra two months as we waited for the new phone.

This year the new phone is on time, but technically only 10 months have gone by, not the one year required by the upgrade program to be eligible to upgrade to a new device.

I got an email from apple though saying I’m eligible to upgrade now as part of the program.

Did apple fix the timing problem caused by their delays last year? Or at some point during this ordering process is it going to make me pay an extra fee to cover the extra two months? I assume the latter, even though it said I was eligible. And if so it seems unfair because last year we all paid an extra two months because of the delay, which means in total they’ll have billed us for an extra 4 months or $400 all because of their own delays.
