Woke up to the same shipping progress as a lot of people’s. Except I can’t get those times to match up to a flight’s departure or arrival time. I’m trying to match it based on time zone and flight delays.

If my half asleep math is right, the scanned transit time from China to Anchorage is only 4 hours apart. Which isn’t possible as the flights take 7-8 hours.

So scans are being missed. There’s a chance for those who aren’t updated leaving China yet that are already gone.

Hell, even if it DOESN'T leave China by tonight, you'll still most likely get it Friday. I posted a few (****, now probably like 100 with how fast this thread goes lol) pages back about how for the 7+ my iPhone didn't leave China until Thursday. I believe it was Thursday afternoon. China to Alaska on Thursday afternoon/evening, Alaska to Louisville very early Friday morning, Louisville to Philadelphia Friday at like 7 or 8 AM, then arrived to my home in Delaware around 4 in the afternoon. Don't panic, UPS can be very fast when they need to be.

So much this. I am always mildly entertained how folks worry when most people don't understand just how efficient JIT logistics can be.

If anyone still is only able to get their tracking number searching by reference (and thus its redacted except for the last 4 digits), I can get it for you - feel free to message me. (h/t to another MR member who showed me how).

My 13 Pro 256gb landed in KY early this morning. Now the wait until Friday. I hope I get it early afternoon which is normally when they deliver. I am out of town Friday night and all day Saturday.

You can just message me and I'll tell you how to do it and you can do it yourself. The guy who showed me initially asked me not to share because he didn't want them to stop the work around but I think we're close enough now where it doesn't matter.
 
Still stuck in Preparing to Ship with no tracking number. Couldn’t obtain one via MyChoice either. For those with outdated statuses, did you just get your tracking number from Apple and/or MyChoice? I feel very left out in all the fun over here 😆

There was a large up cry much like now and Apple quietly contacted us and made it right by moving us to release day. I was never able to track my phone until delivery day. I always thought they had a “slush fund“ of phones to handle customer service issues. If they don’t use all of them then they just move delivery dates earlier. If my theory is correct that would explain why you can’t track phone.

I’m thinking that too. They sent an email saying we see you tried to order but it failed, complete it and we’ll get your phone to you as quickly as we can. Im kinda wondering if the phones don’t get assigned tracking until they make it here. Every year apple doesn’t actually send us the number until like Thursday morning.
