UPS obviously overwhelmed. Still nothing and they usually have delivered hours ago…
They didn't receive the hold request approval until 8:16am today, so I'll have to wait until Monday.
I'll never try a hold for pickup again at UPS. I'll pick it up at my local Apple Store next year.
This didn't quite work, (it was reading dual sim cards. Phone worked but no data plan) My iMessage is messed up. Now Esim has 2 esims with non working anything.
This activation is a total disaster! I'll have to go to Verizon tomorrow...eh.
I did get into the Apple Store and trade in the 12 Pro Max, full $790 plus tax back to my original payment. So I'm happy with that!

Well looks like my wife is out of luck on her’s. UPS was a debacle today with the timely technical issue and severe weather last night. It’s basically they are overwhelmed and needed an excuse to not get dinged by companies over that guarantee delivery policy. Well my wife will get her’s Monday most likely. I ordered from At&t as I’m with FirstNet and can’t do an order through apple. Mine didn’t arrive until 11:36 this morning to my FedEx sort destination near me and it was still delivered by 1:45PM which is dedication on FedEx part.
So, you just took your SIM from your 12PM and inserted into your 13? I've never done it this way before, as I've always just used the SIM that the new phone came with. So, if I use the old SIM, do I still need to turn off iCloud, Find My iPhone, etc, like I normally would?
Since I buy sim-free models, I always insert the SIM card I have from previous models. With the exception of 12 since it's 5G, I needed a 5G sim so I ordered a SIM card from Verizon to be activated. I used that SIM card to activate my 13 Pro max no issues.
FINALLY! The UPS person dropped it off around 6pm. My doorman checked it in almost immediately (this is rare). I ran downstairs and picked it up. I'm still trying to get the new iPhone setup. Looks like setting up eSIM was a breeze.
YAY!! Now I have to put on my screen protector and my case. It was so fun tracking our iPhones together for the past week. Look forward to doing this again in 2022 with the more exciting iPhone 14?! Thank you all for calming me down when I was stressed and didn't think my iPhone would arrive today. You all are the best!!

I'm planning on doing data migration from my 12 Pro to my 13 PM. Should I activate first before doing the data migration? I'm trying not to confuse myself while getting this set up. 🥴
UPS dropped off my devices around 6:42pm. I don't recall the last time I ran to the door so fast after hearing it ring.

Woah, that camera bump! Also, I totally notice the smaller notch at the top and... I love that I upgraded to the Max this year! Sat last year out and went with the normal Pro and I am glad I talked myself back into the big daddy.

No need to activate is you can set it up even without the sim card.
My delivery never came today it’s 8:05pm and nothing still out for delivery and driver passed by here like 4 times I guess someone stole my package

I've heard times where they for whatever reason pass by several times and then finally make the delivery. Does it still say out for delivery?
