Jeez man its not even October yet, I'm not ready for this kind of horror.
Happy Launch Day everyone! My iPhone 13 pro max sierra blue came and she’s so pretty. I’m not really a blue person but I took a chance and she’s lovely. I added a sparkly star case and made her mine. And for the record despite my girly touch, my husband also got the blue and he loves it too. He added a navy case and it’s just as nice. I would say it’s a very casual blue and works well for all! Anyway, Hope you all have a great weekend!
My niece calls this a Cinderella phone lol. Her mom did the same with a sparkle case on the blue.

Well looks like my wife is out of luck on her’s. UPS was a debacle today with the timely technical issue and severe weather last night. It’s basically they are overwhelmed and needed an excuse to not get dinged by companies over that guarantee delivery policy. Well my wife will get her’s Monday most likely. I ordered from At&t as I’m with FirstNet and can’t do an order through apple. Mine didn’t arrive until 11:36 this morning to my FedEx sort destination near me and it was still delivered by 1:45PM which is dedication on FedEx part.
We should all form The Monday Club.

Finally got it delivered at 6:50 PM! Still trying to get the old phone backed up, but the promotion is definitely better than I was expecting. I normally can’t tell much of a difference with different refresh rates, but it definitely looks more smooth. Too bad it got delivered a bit late, I normally go out and take some pictures to test out the new camera

So I share account with my friend and he is the primary account. Do I need to bring him with me if I paid for everything? How do I authorize myself?
He would need to add you as an authorized user and you‘d need the pin or password or whateve. Or he would need to be with you. The people next to me had a similar issue. He ended up just getting a phone of his own instead of figuring it out with his dad.

How did you do the data migration? I have a new SIM card for mine. Just trying to do it right the 1st time. Thanks for any help.
I plugged both phones in and turned on the new one and kept them right next to one another. Shortly after turning your new iPhone on, you will get a popup on your old iPhone about transferring data to your new iPhone. Click "continue" and follow the prompts. The migration process takes about 45-50 min or longer depending on your internet connection. If you have an Apple Watch, leave it on your wrist because at the end, you should prompted about transferring that Apple Watch to new iPhone.

Got my 13 Pro Max setup. First thing I did was do a software update, followed by a erase all contents and started the setup again. Doing the iPhone to iPhone transfer was quick and easy. After I got all my data transferred over, I decided to put a clear gloss skin on the sides of the phone. This will prevent the sides from getting scratched up since the silver does not have a coating on it. I then put on the iCarez glass screen protector. This time I tried the steam trick in the bathroom. Worked like a charm, no dust and the protector went on the first time. Not even any air bubbles. I like the iCarez because it only has a small dip at the top of the screen to accommodate the ear piece and a small round cutout for the front facing camera. And it has a black border all around it which gives it a more seamless look to it. And finally, put my cheap $9 clear case on the phone. Nice having slightly rounded edges on the bottom of the case. I might take a look at getting the peel clear case. I can now relax and not worry about the phone physically.

One thing I have noticed that I really like about the OLED display it has this sort of curved look at the edges, gives a sort of 3D looks to the screen. And the 120 Hz display is like everyone says, you have to see it to really appreciate it. Makes the whole user experience much more enjoyable.

I am already used to holding a big phone. The 13 Pro Max is a touch taller, both are the same width. I do notice the the extra weight of the 13 Pro Max vs. my 6S+. Time to get the 6S+ ready for Apple trade-in. It has served me well for 6 years, had it running iOS 14.8.

I am really glad that I waited the extra year for the 13 Pro Max. The improvements over of the 12 Pro Max are impressive, especially the battery life. Really stellar battery life considering it having the smallest size battery in its class. I think the only way that the other phone manufacturers will be able to beat the 13 Pro Max on battery life is putting batteries that are larger then 5000 mAh, the current 5000 mAh phones can't even match the battery life compared to the 4373 mAh battery in the 13 Pro Max.

I waited 6 years for my iPhone upgrade. And I was really shocked that Apple supported my 6S+ for iOS 15. That means Apple supported the 6S+ for 7 years. WOW.

Welcome to the 21st century and it feels great so far. Taking photos with the new cameras is going to be epic and fun. I look forward to using it and enjoying it now.

Sorry about the photos. I used ancient technology ?
