It's stupid. Every year Verizon charges $20 and every year I have to chat with support and complain about it until they refund me lol. Used to be you could swap sim card from old phone before powering on new phone, but not sure how that will work this year with phones having eSIM preinstalled instead of physical

I am sure the carriers will still try and stick people with the charge, which is nothing but add-on profit for them.

Pretty sure you can. Just take the phone with you if you're picking the phone up in the store. I've done that the last few years.

Anyone with iUP showing card information incorrect error while checking out using Apple Card? I’ve been keep c&p numbers in but the system failed to authorize through and ended up exiting me out, had to restart the checkout procedure. I ended up using my other card and will going to replace the payment on file for iUP later, but this seemed very strange. *I was trying it on iOS 15 RC

Thankfully though, I was able to get mine for 9/24 pickup at nearby Apple Store. 13 Pro Silver 521GB T-Mo

Yes this is exactly what happened to me! I did the same thing and used a different card. I’m also on IOS 15 RC.

Seems like a lot of people had an issue using their Apple Card. I was able to use my wife’s just fine, but mine kept giving me a problem. Like many of you I just ended up switching to another credit card to complete the order. I really would’ve liked to the 3% back end it doesn’t look like apples gonna let you change the payment method. I suppose I can change the citizen loan payment method.

I wasn't asked to enter CVV code on my bank of America card that's on file with the Apple store. Just touch ID on the MacBook Pro. Is all good ?

Yup. Apple will have to explain and fix the issues with the credit card being rejected for all of us. That is unacceptable that we can’t use the Apple Card 😂😂

Yeah its always wonky like this when the system is overrun with orders. It'll pop up eventually.

Got the 256 Sierra Blue 13 Pro Max. Remembering those days of doing this in the middle of the night, 7am ain’t so bad.

Yes, was trying to order three IUP phones that I all preapproved with my Apple Card, but then the Apple Card transactions kept failing after re-typing the number, saving, and submitting multiple times. I got one ordered with it finally, then the others saved the number, but failed on the transaction. I finally used another card. Glad I didn’t plan on the Apple Card financing.

Had issues paying with my Apple Card so I had to use another credit card. Anxiety shot through the roof!! Was told I wasn’t approved for the upgrade. But my order finally went through with a. Friday delivery date!! Come on 24th

Store opened for me on iPad (the app) at 0505. Got my confirmation email at 0506 hrs PDT. Joy!

Now to sleep. Hope everyone Had good success with the new pre-pre-order system. Seemed to go smooth for me, except for the slightly late store opening.

Well, I guess my order is not going in today.. I checked out my pre-order and noticed Apple Pay said "Payment not processed", but Apple Store went through.. I did get an email confirmation -- but when I try to click the order I get "Something went wrong" and thats it. If I attempt to order again, it tells me my number is already associated with an existing pre-order reservation and I need to cancel it. But -- like I said, trying to cancel gets me "Something went wrong"

We don't know. It could be either China or Vietnam this year. I have a feeling they will ship from China but I could be wrong. Let's see. All will unfold

ATT like prior years has consistently opened orders 15 minutes early for past 3 releases that I've used them. They may have even done more but I left Apple for ATT preorder day for phones only. with the 11 Pro Max I would buy my Titanium watch from them each year but I've never seen it listed before only SS.

Anyhow im on ATT next and have used Apple always for its ease of return and tracking but found that early 15 minutes was worth the trade off IMO.
