I entered a gift card upon checkout (paying in full) but I don't see it reflected anywhere in the order status and the balance on the card still shows the full amount. A little annoying, but I'm picking up in store so I imagine it won't be an issue to just apply the gift card at time of pickup.
 
just checked my delivery date and it hasn’t changed from release date 😮‍💨

Oof ... I can see the point about storage used, but there really is a history about base space and iPhones. I forgot which phone it was that it sold with base and came hardly with usable space after that cause of the size of the OS. Hence the "what's the point". Usually those base models are for Apple displays and test devices.

Maybe the iPhone 5c? Didn’t they have one with 8gb?

Question though. I selected in store pick up (at least I think I did 🤪) Order says Standard Delivery.

does that mean I didn’t get in store pickup? (Never pre ordered direct from Apple).
 
Well it’s been working out on my 12 pro max for a year, so not sure why it would be any different? I only had 64gb on the 11 pro and that was fine. My photos and videos all upload to Google Photos, why would I need to store a bunch on the phone?
Yeah I’m not sure why this is so hard to believe. I only have 31GB used on my 12 pro right now lmao
 
Went smoothly using the preorder feature. As soon as the site came up it pulled up my order, clicked a button to confirm then one more to place order. Took maybe 30 seconds. Order #W872474736 about 8:06AM EST. iphone 13 Pro 512GB Blue. Shows Friday the 24th as the delivery date.
Might be best not to list your order number in a public post.
 
In the upgrade program for years. Did the pre-order. My AppleCard had various errors...declined, timed out, required reentering card number. Figured the Apple Store was just bogged down. Thank goodness for the people on this forum. I put in a different card and my order then went through without a problem.

I've been using my AppleCard for the payments in the past. I don't remember having an issue with it last year. Maybe because it's an early upgrade and I have to pay off the last month.

It would say in store pick up .. sounds like you set up as a delivery
 
As of right now on Apple.com the only phones left for delivery on Sept 24

All non-September dates show Oct 6-11. I was able to see some available for pick up in TX Sept 24

I chose gold myself so looks like I'll have the underrepresented color. Hopefully the back glass is less beige this year...

I just looked at the aluminum painted sides of the Samsung. For being less than two weeks old and never taken out of the house the color on frame is already marring and coming off when viewing it under magnification. Was the same with the Note20U aluminum frame. It's basically the silicon case rubbing it off. Lol. PS before anyone states sand and dust getting between the frame and case , yes I'm aware that causes damage. But this ain't sand nor dust. I'm a phone veteran from the mid 90s thru to now. 😂

The gold pro max I sold recently looked mint under same magnification and lighting.
 
I really like having everything ready to go! Verizon upgrade charge at checkout was unexpected and unwelcome considering how much they charge me every month. (Might be time for a carrier change.)

I ordered the 13 in pink, 256gb. 9/24 delivery.

It’s way more memory than I think I’ll need. But, when I got the 6s+, 64 seemed like too much. That choice is the reason I’ve gotten so many years from the device. So, 256 it is.
Yeah, that was a curveball. I got that a few times with upgrade...always got that wiped out or a Fios bill credit by calling them (I've had them since 2010...so don't nickel and dime me!)

That upgrade fee did not show up on my phone LAST year, Nov 6 (although I traded that in 14 days later for Pacific Blue).

This year, $35 upgrade fee shows up. It's a shady unneeded money grab charge.
 
I pre-preordered a graphite but changed my mind for the Sierra Blue after I completed my pre-preorder (graphite)both arrives on 24th apparently but I would like to cancel the graphite one but it seems to be I cannot since there is no option to cancel on the app smh.
 
Ordered a 256 Pro in Blue. Upgrading from an 8. Love the fact that the screen is so much bigger but outside dimensions almost the same. Would have preferred in store pickup but it was not available (Cincinnati) for some reason, so it’ll be delivered. Saying 9/24.
