maybe regional? im in US and was only option and said 'free' as well cost wise.
It's probably the 39g lighter body of 15Plus compared to 14PM, they thought it was aerodynamic enough to upgrade it to express status
what a terrible experience. app didnt half way work until 8:20. Put in 2 orders, one thru browser the other thru my prepre order. both pushed to Oct 4. Which is fine because my birthday is the next day but still lol.
The ISP did not create the constant error messages on the iPhone app when trying to complete the pre-order. This was all on Apple and it isn't the first time, it also won't be the last.
Unable to place order through Apple website in India. Current delivery dates shows October 9th for 256 GB Pro Max Natural Titanium
I got in at 8:02, but my pre-order info expired and I had to start over.
Omg. That was soooo stressful! App and website wouldn’t open until 5:21! My White titanium PM 512GB is arriving a week from today! Exciting!

Waited at exact 5am. Apple Store app and website did not open until 5.06am, and even then, errors out when selecting options. Ordered 2 15PM natural Ti at AT&T instead coming 9/22. Checked on Apple Store again at 5.20am, now website finally works but delivery date for natural Ti moved to October.
Wow couldn’t get Apple Store app to load on my phone or laptop, after about 8 minutes I tried through a third party browser and it worked. Apple Store app kept giving me errors. Got a 22nd ship date. 🥸
Relatively easy ordering this year. Apple did screw up my pre-pre order, so I wound up ordering one phone through the app and one via the Apple web site on Safari.
Two iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both 1TB, one white, one blue. AT&T installment plan. Two different order numbers. First confirmed at 5:05 Pacific, second one at 5:14. Both state Sep 22 delivery.
So all in all, easier than in some years past but still not error-free.
And, the Pro Max initial allocation has already sold out. Delivery dates now pushed back into October.

I was able to order pick up on 22nd at the time I wanted and the store I wanted so.
That was a virtual rollercoaster ride, thanks apple.
I ordered my partner's iPhone 15 Pro 256 gb Blue Titanium and his total was higher than mine. His Initial Amount Due is $169.28. Mine is $154.54. The only difference is that I got AppleCare+ with Theft & Loss (PTSD from my phone getting stolen).

Man that was a terrible experience. The Dang AS finally came online at 8:05est and kept failing on store times... 3 devices and all the same. In the end I got a Black and Titanium. Both with noon PU times. I have an Ultra already set for 8:30am so maybe I will get to PU early with the watch.
My preorder kept erroring out due to the trade-in portion - and I got stuck with Oct delivery. (Natural Titanium) Historically is there any chance this still gets delivered next week?
