Call or chat in to customer service. I had that happen several years ago and they were able to change my payment type after I placed the preorder without impact my launch day delivery. It may not be possible if you also did a payment plan of some sort. Past years, call/chat would be really busy until later in the morning so you may want to wait a few hours before trying that. YMMV

Got my order in on the app, but delivery date Already slipped to early Oct?!

App didn’t come up for me until 8:06 (5:06) and then kept giving an error message to complete my preorder. Finally got to a pay page and then it said my session timed out. I got a confirmation email and installment agreement from AT&T, but the App Store still looks like I need to complete my preorder and will not load the order page. The website is still showing be back soon. I THINK I have a Sept 22 delivery for a natty Pro Max 256.

What a cluster****.

I got in and went through ordering process. Received a session expired message at check out. Tried again multiple times and was got messages saying that I already had a reservation for my phone number. Checked my email and see the order confirmation at 8:07 EDT. I do not see it listed in my orders though under my acct.

You can call or chat ATT if you get charged the $35 upgrade fee and they will waive it. I do it every year. Last year I never got charged for it!!

you don't have to call them. you can do it on their app on their site.
