It seems that those who are on the Apple Upgrade Program are having trouble getting their preorder. If I try and check out by doing a straight purchase, it seems to go through fine. It seems those in the Upgrade Program are definitely getting screwed here. Thanks Apple.....

SO, app continued to error out trying to get pre-order info. Web site started working so used that.
Natural titanium 256 Pro Max showed as arriving 22 SEP but when finished order said October 3-4!!! (We leave October 2nd for vacation so NOT GOOD)
Finished black titanium no problem and that is arriving 22 SEP.
Placed 3rd order for white titanium and that also is fine arriving 22 SEP.
Will cancel the natural titanium order once that's possible.
I would have been better off just ordering w/o doing the pre-order thing since the hold-up was getting the pre-order info. A new order was super fast anyways, so, lesson learned for following years.

Oh my God finally. It worked. I kept trying iphone, desktop and it finally worked on desktop. I'm getting both of ours on September 22nd

aaannnddd.......Success! Finally got in! 256GB natural titanium arriving on 9/22!
Every year we have folks who are angry because they couldn't get in on the pre-order but this year was different. Server errors? IUP issues? Timing out? Apple Store going down AFTER the pre-order? Yikes. I was able to go through but this wasn't as seamless as previous years. Maybe the demand will be huge this year
I wonder why your card got charged. Don’t they usually not get charged until they ship? Congrats though!
What a joke. Neither app nor website will load without an error, for 20 minutes of trying so far
At 8:17am EST I was at the point after I selected my pickup time, but when it came time I pay via Apple Pay it kept giving me an error and then it said it timed out!! Grrr.... So now I am repeadily trying to have it access my pre-order again which keeps giving me an error.
Still staring at "Almost there" on the website via Safari on macOS, and "Cannot connect to Apple Store" via the app on iOS.
