Is the T-Mobile app the best way to know exactly when the phone ships? I primarily check that first, then my bank, then UPS MyChoice and was wondering what's the most immediate and up to date way to check the status of my device.

In T-Mobile on your EIP it will show “Active-shipped” and IMEI of your phone once they’ve shipped your device. For some reason this year they only put first name as reference so UPS My Choice may not find any packages being shipped from T-Mobile to you. Honestly you won’t know until T-Mobile says your device has shipped and they’ll email and text you.

Mine arrived, but I still have 3.5 hours at work and probably an hour commute home before I can open it up.

It’s here!!!!!

My dad is liking his. Honestly though I’m not feeling the matte textured back... it’s awfully slippery. Mine gets here on Monday and I’m concerned I won’t be able to pull off the one handed gymnastics that I constantly rely on for my XS Max (not to mention the fact that it’s noticeably heavier). Additionally the lack of 3D Touch will bother me for a while but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Cameras are awesome though and that’s primarily the reason why I ordered one last minute.

I got my phone through the IUP and I am on T-Mobile. Phone came today and I set it up using transfer from my iPhone Xs. However my new phone is not activated. Do I need to swap sim cards or activate the sim or something on the new one? Or maybe switch to eSIM?

Just swap the SIM card. It’s easier.

Typing on my 11 Pro Max. Very nice. Battery life is definitely much improved, face id is faster. Cam is better of course. Rest is same as my 10S Max

I went down there and they told me that it is still in Sacramento, not yet in my city. For any of you that picked up, was there anything beyond “held” on your tracking info?

You can tell everyone (For the most part) has gotten their phones as the amount of posts in this thread has slowed significantly.

Is there an easy way to transfer my active eSim from my former iPhone XS Max to my new iPhone 11 Pro Max?
