What’s the point of a down payment if you don’t own the phone? Mind boggling. It’s a money grab by T-Mobile.

Yup. This is why for the first time in years I will be using a year old model and wait until next year when my xs max is paid off and mine. Finally will then be out of JOD.

Does T-Mobile do launch day delivery? My order status says "ships by 9/20"

From what I remember last year, a lot of people with launch day delivery got their phones shipped out on launch day. Actual deliver to addresses were 1-3 days after that. Happened to me, so I ended up canceling and picking it up in-store. T-Mobile Reps said launch day didn’t mean we’d get it launch day... decided to go with the Apple store this year

In my experience it’s said that every year and still gets delivered on launch day
I probably shouldn't have splurged the extra $25 for 2 day shipping then. Oh well. Better safe than sorry, I can't last another day with my 5S.

They charged you for shipping?? That’s one of my least favorite things about T-Mobile; everyone gets different offers

Why my trade in only get $140 for my 7+ instead of $350 anyone have same problem?

$0 down, $71.25 in taxes upfront, $15/month EIP.

Just picked up the iPhone 11 in YELLOW with a iPhone 7 trade in = 50% off - 2 easy minutes online and saved $20 in-store/on-phone charges!

Done and ordered via T-Force in the most painless upgrade experience in years. 11 Pro 256GB midnight green. Signed and returned EIP within minutes and have an order number, things that in the past have been sporadic. Not sure if it’s an everyone thing, or business accounts only but did get free overnight shipping to arrive on 9/20.

JoD sucks on 11 Pro. It is stupid to put a lot of money down on a lease phone, when you don't own it and will simply turn it in within 18 months (12 months usually for me). I said screw it and just did JOD jump to 11 128GB Black. Only $29 down. I'll live with it and then budget to get a 11S Pro (or whatever they call it) with 5G built in... on EIP or just outright. Not putting down heavy money on a lease.

This was a pain last year. If it says overnight, you get it Friday. If it says ground, you will likely get it Monday. This was the case last year for me even though the rep guaranteed it for Friday (it was free).

Also last year - about 75% of the people on this thread were convinced ground would result in Friday delivery (as it always did in the past) and that was not the case. Temper your expectations.

If you’re trading in an iPhone 7 on another line this is what you’ll see. I figure just trade-in on the line with the 7 and swap sims when you get the phone.

Yeah, had to remind the agent about the promotion and after 10 minutes research she came back with a credit spread over the 24 months of payments.

But with JOD you can upgrade every month if you’d like. That’s what you’re paying for.

My 2 day shipping with launch day arrival was free. Weird.

Quite a few people were given ground shipping instead of the free 2 day shipping. There was a huge reddit thread about it. It looked like reps were giving out random shipping times when they told people they were giving them free 2 day. That’s what happened to me :(

I don’t really understand JOD at all.

This is my lease agreement from last year’s XS Max 512GB: $799.34 down + $21.90/month (16 months) + $360 lease end buyout

After 11 payments jumping to this:

My lease agreement for this year’s 11 Pro Max 256GB: $580.34 down + $25.19/month (18 months) + $306 lease end buyout

Feels like I’m getting fleeced but I’m not sure. Can someone help me out here?
