your phone has to be 100% paid off to get the promotion

You can still jump just won’t get the promotion

I just had a chat with a trade in specialist from T-Mobile and because I have Protection 360 on my iPhone and EIP plan, I'm elegible to Jump upgrade after 12 months. I just need to order the new iPhone 11 Pro and after I ship back my current XS they paid it off. This is one time deal during the life of my T-Mobile account. So most likely I will wait until next year when this XS will be paid off and order the 12 Pro instead.

You just have to pay for the ridiculous down payment LOL

Here is what T-Mobile just sent me for JOD Pricing via Twitter.
For Super Well-Qualified...

iPhone 11 64GB$0 down$29.17 monthly

Phone 11 128GB$0 down $31.67 monthly

iPhone 11 256GB$75.99 down $31 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro 64GB$117.99 down $31 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro 256GB$213.99 down $36 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro 512GB$305.99 down $39 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB$181.99 down $36 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB$259.99 down $38 monthly

iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB$369.99 down $40 monthly
I hope here’s no down payment on the 64gb 11! I’m not sure what “super well qualified” is defined as, but I have a feeling I’ll be super UNqualified lol. My luck with T-Mobile hasn’t been that great hahah

It doesn’t look like any of the pricing listed mentions Jump or Jump 2. If memory serves me right, the pricing structure for Jump was different from JOD last year, but I could be mistaken. Has anyone heard anything yet about standard Jump?

Ok wait I have a dumb question...

I thought preorders start at midnight? A rep told me I can’t preorder until 5am PST.

o_O

Yeah they changed it this year!
I’m gonna set an alarm! I think since the 64gb and 128gb are $699 and $750 there will be a better chance of us being able to preorder without it becoming backordered super quick :):):)

Since they’d both (presumably) be zero down

This is my first time upgrading with T-Mobile as I only recently switched to T-Mobile from AT&T back in May.

Every upgrade from AT&T went seamless and was very easy (and no downpayment!) Anyhow, does anyone know if the EIP pricing includes sales tax?

Also, I was at a T-Mobile store today getting info on how to upgrade and the sales guy stressed that I should come into the store to do the upgrade rather than online or via the app. Is that true or was he looking for commission? What is the best way to upgrade with T-Mobile? My phone is past the halfway mark, I have an EIP with Jump 2.0

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I called T-Mobile to confirm this info and they said it was all true.

I think if your phone is halfway paid off you should be ok. In past experience from a few years ago, when I had regular Jump! and and EIP, I had to pay taxes up front but there’s no down payment if the phone is under $750. But I think it’s also based on the tier they have you under so hopefully this helps a little!

I do have a iPhone 7 to trade on one of my phone lines, does it have to be on that line to do the 11 Pro order or can I just tell them I have a 7 for trade? Also, any special criteria as to condition of the trade?

It does not have to be connected to the line you are upgrading. Trade needs to be in working condition, with no major damage or unrepaired screen cracks with Find My iPhone disabled.

So if I trade in my XS Max and get half off the 11 Max Pro, do I still have a down payment?? Also can you preorder over the phone tomorrow and say you are going to bring your XS Max to a local store for the trade in?

Nvm, I see that you can order over the phone and then you have 30 days to turn in your device to a local T-Mobile store.

I wouldn't bother turning it in to a local store. Put the old one in the box the new one came in and put it in the mailbox. Problem solved and saves you a trip.

If your XS Max is paid off, then yes, you will get the promotion. It's unclear as to whether you'll have a down payment due. Either the full promotional balance or anything not used for the down payment would be applied as 24 monthly bill credits.

Ok so what’s the best and fastest way to order via JOD.. Twitter? I really hate calling them because they outsource to different countries and although the reps are nice, they work really slow

Haha hey good luck! I’m sure you’ll get it. Super well qualified I believe it’s if you have over a certain amount of years with T Mobile and you have enough available balance to finance the phone. Let us know how it goes!

I only use twitter with T-Mobile they are fast and you have the messages as a proof.

Here is a twitter message I sent Art Lucero. He’s a top executive at T Mobile about shipping times. Should be free 2nd day shipping, you have the option of paying for overnight shipping. I honestly thought both were the same but here we are! Almost time!

It depends

if you are JOD you have to call in. If your just jump it non jump you can do what you want

Do you know if the website will have a "trade-in" or "deals" section? How will they know I'm wanting to trade in the iPhone 7+ for $350 rather than just buying the full retail price?
