I missed on the "release day" pre-order, but did place an order on Sunday ~ 10am.

I agree that the 36 month payment term sucks, but not much I can do about that. I feel the Verizon "Upgrade" promotion totally made it worth it.

One line upgraded from iPhone 12 (non-Pro) for $800 credit, and second line upgraded, and used an old iPhone 7 Plus 32gb trade in and got $400 credit for that. I can sell the 13 Pro Max for a decent profit at that point.

I was going to upgrade through apple but didn’t want to pay the additional charge of apple care on top. I figure I’ll take the $33/mo charge from Verizon, and set aside the difference so that at the 12mo mark for next year, I can call a month ahead and make the payment to pay off 50% and proceed with the upgrade. Might not work for everyone but that’s my plan.

I started a new plan and ordered day 1 as soon as they went live and got shipping info

Good to know. How did you pay for what you owed? Maybe it has something to do with Paypal.

Talked to Verizon customer service and they seem to think my order is okay. I guess we'll see what happens?

So these packages are signature required, I wonder if UPS will leave them at the door anyway like they did during 2020, and 2021? It cost 7 bucks to have it sent to a access point which is ridiculous. Exactly why I try to refrain from buying anything from a place that uses UPS. All of my experiences with Verizon has ALWAYS been FedEx

I used Apple Pay and I got my shipping info last night. I too was afraid I would get that email but I called this morning to make sure and they said payment was processed and that’s why I got my shipping. iPhone 14 Pro Max Deep Purple.
Did you use Apple Pay with your Apple Card or with another credit card? I used it with my Apple Card and I wonder if that is more specifically the issue rather than Apple Pay with another credit card.

I ordered 10 minutes after preorders started and today they said it would be delivered on the 23rd. The customer "service" person I talked to said that was the way it was always done, than they couldn't even BEGIN to ship them until the phone was released on Friday.

I've canceled my order, I'm going to order one for local pickup from the Apple Store Friday morning and between this and deplorable signal quality at my house that just isn't getting any better, I'm damn near convinced to move all 12 lines to T-Mobile.

Those reps are almost never right, they see what we see on our end and that’s it I’m convinced. What model did you get?

From what I can remember they will leave them but I could be wrong. I plan on being home and around Friday just to make sure. I've tried getting it rerouted to a UPS center for pickup and didn't end up getting it until Sat....like an animal lol.

For those that ordered one phone, how much does your FedEx package weigh? For those that ordered 2, how much does yours weigh?

I ordered one phone and it weighs 1.30 lbs.
Ah, so both my phones must be in the same box because mine is 3lbs.

Verizon only shows one as being shipped, but I’m pretty sure there are two phones in that box based on the weight.

Suggest others with two phones on order to check the weight of their shipment.

I ordered two and the weight of my shipment is only 1.3lbs. Are you trading in a phone? In my experience, my shipments have been listed as 3lbs when a return kit is included.

Ah, yes I am. I thought the kits came in separate boxes. Dammit. Lol

ATT.com says my 14PM 256 purple is about to ship, was Sept 23-30
14PM 512 still showing Oct 23-30

If you have it held at your UPS CC (Customer Center), you can pick it up the day it arrives at the hub, as soon as they open. They put your package to the side for pickup and don’t load it on the truck. I ordered through Apple and having mine held at the hub and will pick it up as soon as they open, so that I avoid waiting for the UPS driver.

Lucky in my area the pick up hrs are 3pm-5pm.

The last couple iPhones I got came UPS but the iPad Pros came from FedEx. A couple years ago everything came FedEx. On this order it looks like the return box for my trade is coming Wednesday via FedEx and the phone coming UPS on Friday. Both coming from CA.
