So these packages are signature required, I wonder if UPS will leave them at the door anyway like they did during 2020, and 2021? It cost 7 bucks to have it sent to a access point which is ridiculous. Exactly why I try to refrain from buying anything from a place that uses UPS. All of my experiences with Verizon has ALWAYS been FedEx

UPS delivered mine last year. I hate them. And it didn’t get delivered on the day it was supposed to. This year FedEx will be delivering so hopefully it goes smoothly. It doesn’t seem like a signature is required but I could be wrong.
 
how are you all getting your phones rerouted for pickup? Every iPhone I’ve ordered since the X hasn’t been allowed to be held for pickup

I just checked my last Verizon shipment with a phone and return kit only weighed 2 pounds. I still think my phones are in the same box.

Okay so I ordered two iPhone 14s Pros 128gb in Deep Purple (one pro - on accident & one max) at 8:02am on Friday morning. I realized later around 3pm that I meant to order another 14 pro max instead of just the pro, so I canceled the pro order and reordered the pro max. The first iPhone 14 pro max I ordered says “shipped delivery for the 16th” so no worries there, but the one I had to reorder says “delivery date will be updated soon” on the app. At first it said September 30th, but now it’s doesn’t give me any date for delivery. Do you think it’ll come this month or am I screwed until October-November? I know patience is key and I know I’ll get it regardless, I just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback. Lol Thank you! (Ps: this is my first time using macrumors and everyone seems to be knowledgeable and I love the sense of positive community)

Also, do you think I’ll have a chance going up to Verizon to buy the pro max in person on Friday morning or should I just keep my order that I made online?

The only routing options I have for the package with UPS is to leave it with a neighbor. How are you all opting to have it held at the hub for pickup? I only ever recall that being an option after having at least 1 delivery attempt being made.

I’d love it if I could just be at the hub when they open and pick it up versus waiting all day…

Now when I check the order status online it says “We do not have a record of order number” but on the app it says processing. Weird. What is happening. I literally just checked about a hour ago and it was working fine.
 
Good thing I read this thread. Just canceled my order after seeing the mandatory 36 month payment to utilize the promotional credit. I'll wait until the USB-C iPhone comes out.

Just got my shipping info for Friday delivery from Verizon. I’m sure everyone else will soon

Every year we do this dance lol. Nothing to worry about. If you ordered and said the 16th you will get it on the 16th unless the phone gods are extremely mad at you. One year I didn't get shipping info till the day before and still had it on release day.

I don’t have the best of luck ordering things from Verizon lately, so it’s mostly the Verizon gods that don’t like me….lol
 
Any one else with two phone orders? What’s the weight on your shipment? Are you getting a return kit with your device? I’m still trying to determine if there are two phones in my shipment or just one.
