Here’s to hoping it just missed a scan. Not surprised though, UPS’ reliability has gone down hill in recent years.

Same! UPS either comes around 1015 or 3 in our area. Never shows "out for delivery" until after 915/930.

Don't want to sit home all day, hoping this shows up on the "Live Map" so I can watch him. 👀

That Map is so frustrating. The driver drives by my house twice before I get a delivery. I don't know if the map is off, or they actually do drive by in their route. One driver a few years ago said that he had been by the house a few times that day but can't stop out of their programmed route. And UPS says their routes are laid out to maximize the miles driven to save fuel/etc. Sure... And I sit stuck in a state of anticipation, watching the updates. Hah!! Too funny...

Despite my order status saying delivery on 9/16, I called Verizon and they confirmed my order wouldn’t arrive until 9/23. They confirmed this isn’t because of the simultaneous Ultra order, they just didn’t have enough stock. I asked if they could have a local store hold one instead of shipping and they said no.

Is this kind of thing common for Verizon? My order page didn’t update the estimated delivery at all, it never even removed the fraud check message after I was cleared. I’m wondering if it’s worth tying myself to them for three years.

I think they turned the map off because on iPhone launch days in years past, people have stalked and stolen phones off of UPS and FedEx trucks.

Verizon is great for service. Customer service has always been great too. But this is ridiculous. I wont preorder through them again,

I’m on US Mobile right now, $50/month for 100 GB of premium data. Switching to Verizon to get the phone puts me on a $80/month plan, but I’m also getting $150 off the Ultra and a $200 rebate that I can either put towards AirPods Pro 2 or two months of service.

So now it’s a question of either sucking it up and waiting one whole week, paying more per month but getting newer upgraded stuff, or cancel and save money and live with the 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch SE 2020. They aren’t bad devices of course, but I was looking forward to the upgrades. Decisions, decisions…

Mine is out for delivery but it's UPS so I have no idea when they will come by the house and also have no doubt that they will come by the moment I am not able to see or get to the door. It is inevitable.
