I just looked at Verizon’s website for shop for new phone- and it’s showing $800 trade in there

Have you tried clearing your cart and starting a trade in again, to see if it reappears?

Yes I did and it did not reappear. I called Verizon and it’s a glitch. Rep tried it and got the $800 offer. Rep offered to do it for me but I just learned from ordering my watch that ordering over the phone won’t produce an online order to track progress. So rep said says try again online and if it never reappears call back.

Rep said $800 is good through the end of the month. The reason I keep hesitating is that I've been told that Verizon will compete with Prime Day and have something special on the 10th of October. This could be wrong information.

I've been on the fence about upgrading my 12 Pro Max 256GB to 14 Pro Max or 14 Pro through Verizon. The 14 Pro 128GB has been sitting in my cart for days. It clearly shows I would get $800 for the trade-in divided over 36 months, which makes the monthly payment $5.52

Well, now the $800 is no longer available and only $389. I had no idea the $800 offer would end. I was thinking Verizon would keep this deal for a long time.

Maybe it's a website malfunction? I'm definitely not upgrading through Verizon if all I get is $389. Verizon just took away the best incentive I had to upgrade.

In the past, when Verizon ends a deal, do they offer a new deal?

Nothing for me on my returned iPhone. They are telling me it was delivered 9/26 on to the dock but hasn’t been checked in yet. They don’t know why so they opened a ticket so hopefully by tomorrow I will have an answer.

I am still on the fence about which 14. if any, to buy. I've always known plain ole 14 wasn't for me. That left the remaining three. Having a 12 Pro Max for 2 years, I wondered if I could return to a smaller phone. I finally decided I probably couldn't. So, that left me to choose between 14 Plus and 14 Pro Max. Being that I do not take a lot of pictures and do not record a lot of videos, The Plus with its more affordable price, became my focus. Therefore, I was waiting for the reviews to start posting. Now that they have, I am satisfied with it except for one thing: Dynamic Island! Will I regret not having it over the 36 months Verizon will lock me into? This video is helping me to decide.

I still have not decided. I need to hurry up.

Got my PM set up on Tuesday, and I LOVE IT!! I was most excited for the always on display, and am not disappointed in it at all!! The deep purple is less purple than I had hoped, it tends to look more dark gray/black.. but I'm not worried about it, figured if I didn't love the cover, I'd use a case anyway. Currently have a clear case with silver/gold stars, so it actually looks cool whether it's purple, or gray/black.

I added my 14 Pro Max to my account online. I just had to talk to a rep to fully activate the eSim that the store employees couldn’t do.

Interesting. The guys at my local store had me changed over from S10+ to iPhone 14 Pro Max in under 5 minutes. No change to the plan and its low price, which we have had for years.
