So, what am I expecting in the morning Verizon website wise historically? Has it been a smooth process in recent years or a lot of crashing and refreshing? Been a while since I’ve done preorder day.

What if you’re on prepaid Verizon? Then you switch to postpaid. Does that count as “switching”?

In my experience, always pretty smooth with no issues. Pre ordered the galaxy s8 plus s10, iPhone 11,12,13 max’s and I’ve always gotten the release date, never back order date

Verizon needs to do trade in deals without having to change plans, sucks the way it is. Especially them bumping it up to 36 months now.

Maybe I'm confused but this doesn't seem right. They are actually giving him $800 for the phone currently, but if he breaks the contract after 2 years then he has to pay off the remaining $266. So that would have been $800, now minus the $266 and that is where he would still have gotten $534. So it's a better deal than Apples deal but sucks they dont do all the credits up front.

Im in a similar situation. Apple is offering me $600 for my phone, then Verizon will kick in the extra $200 for a total of $800 off. I get the $600 off from Apple, then bill credits from Verizon. Im going to upgrade in a year so I might as well let Verizon give me credits for a year for free. I'll lose some money but it's a better deal to me.
This is how I’m interpreting it too. I’m in the same situation as you. Also getting 600 for mine. Also usually upgrade every year. I figure a year of additional credits is still worth going with Verizon instead of Apple.

Glad we are on the same page. Im still on the fence between pro or pro max, and silver vs black. ugh..

Has anyone ever used Verizon Dollars (or VZ e-giftcards) towards an iPhone purchase? I stumbled upon a post on the community section on the VZ website that said that you can use the VZ accumulated rewards (i.e. Verizon Dollars or Device Dollars) when placing an order directly through Apple. This sounds off since they're two different merchants...

Also, has anyone redeemed Verizon Dollars/Rewards for Apple gift cards? If so, how long did it take to receive the email? Was it instantaneous?

Thanks yall - happy pre-ordering.

So no option for 24 month payment plan anymore. Last year I did 30 month instead of 24 because I’d only have to pay $150 to upgrade early. Next year’s early upgrade gonna be $533.

You can now preorder Apple Watches on the app. I’ve preordered my Ultra on the app and have one through Apple. Whichever one come first is the one I will keep.

Anyone else showing unable to upgrade early like in years past? Mine shows an option to pay $154 to upgrade early but when I select that option the next screen asks me to pay the balance in full.

Mine is saying the same. It says pay 45.79 to upgrade early. I spoke with someone on Twitter and they said once the preorders go live I will be able to upgrade. Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max, there is nothing to upgrade to. But we will see

There is no way. Is there seriously no more 24 month plans from Verizon?

Just finished mine at 8:04 and was already told the 23rd for the silver max 128gb by the time I finished checkout. If past years are any indication though I'll end up getting it on the 16th.

Completed my order for Deep Purple Pro Max 1 TB by 8:02am. The easiest it’s ever been. Now the waiting game 😅
