Ordered a silver 256 pro, first time thru Verizon (because apple store was being weird).
Will it ship UPS from China like with Apple preorders? Or work differently?
Got my 1TB 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple ordered within minutes of preorders going live. Had a small hiccup with it taking my credit card number as the continue button wouldn’t light up. Switched to Apple Pay and it worked fine but the last two years I used Apple Pay always causes issues with the payment going through just before shipping so I’m sure that will be the same again.
I had to call to place my order, I had 2 device payments as well and the only option it gave me was to pay off the 13 in full. Can someone help me make sense of this? I have 2 device payments left on my iPhone 12 Pro totaling $85. But when I go to pre-order it’s telling me I need to pay off $128. Is this difference the loss of a trade-in credit or something? What’s my best move here?
That was a deal breaker for me. Not gonna be hog-tied to Verizon for 3 years for an expensive phone where I am penalized for paying off early. I will do it for a Watch because the penalty for early pay off is not bank-breaking. I will buy 14 Pro Max further down the road. I will probably use a no-interest service that splits payments over time such as Klarna. There is no way. Is there seriously no more 24 month plans from Verizon?
Same hereI had to call to place my order, I had 2 device payments as well and the only option it gave me was to pay off the 13 in full.
The Verizon app has been trash for a long time my friend. Just login through your browserUpgraded both my wife and I’s 12P and 12PM for 14P and 14PM.
Both slated for delivery on 9/16.
However, I don’t see where I can see my recent orders on the Verizon app atm…anyone having that issue?
I hate the 36 month payment term. That’s why I went ahead and paid off my 13 Pro Max and went with iUP this time around. A little more expensive than the 24 month finance through VZ but includes AC+
This language is truly confusing. Called in and I don’t think the rep understood either but they are saying I need to keep the device to see $130 credit in my October bill?!?? 🤷🏻♂️I had to call to place my order, I had 2 device payments as well and the only option it gave me was to pay off the 13 in full.

Worth noting that this isn't always the case when compared to other trade-in dealsNot gonna be hog-tied to Verizon for 3 years for an expensive phone where I am penalized for paying off early
It wasn’t too much of a problem the last two years as it just required me to re-enter payment information in before they would start the process of shipping the phone but it is a little bit of a hassle nonetheless. Seems to have something to do with the way VZW does their pre-authorization of payments and then since the phone doesn’t ship for nearly a week later they seem to not be able to process the Apple Pay again. Not sure why as other places I’ve used Apple Pay and my Apple card for preorders seems to work just fine.Yup, I remember there being issues with Apple Pay. I'd love to use it, but totally scared off by the drama from years past.
I’ve had VZW use both UPS and FedEx in years past. Regardless of shipping partner they do require a signature for delivery though. You can pre-authorize and ask that they leave the phone at the delivery address but ultimately it is up to the driver as to whether or not they choose to leave the package without getting an in person signature.14 Pro Max secured for 9/16. Does Verizon always ship with a specific carrier? UPS or Fedex? Is a signature typically required on delivery?
I will be traveling this year on delivery day and can’t remember years past.
Switched to T-Mobile last year but their preorder situation has been a DISASTER this morning. Ain’t nobody got time for that, so I switched back to Verizon
256 GB Pro (Silver)
