Is the delivery date they give you with verizon pretty solid? Is there anyway to track where its moving like people that order through apple?
Yes, they're solid (of course, barring any extreme weather, etc.). You should get a tracking number early/mid-next week, but there's not as much tracking fun to be had because Verizon's stock is already in the US.

I never had a phone get push back in delivery date. I would say the dates are pretty solid. I have seen where people had later date then release day orders get push up to arrive on release date. Most time they are ones that ordered shortly after preorders went live.

As tracking orders someone always seem to come up with a way to find phones little earlier than Verizon tracking offers. we should see movement on orders around middle of next week.

Verizon's page says any phone any model for $1000 trade-in credit but when I called them, they said it has to be iPhone SE 3rd version or iPhone 12 and higher. Are you guys hearing the same?

My post didn’t age well 🤣

The Apple website was having issues so I hopped on Verizon’s site and got launch day shipping for my iPhone 15 PM 512 in titanium and my Ultra 2.
I also ordered through Verizon after the Apple site was struggling. Was still able to get 9/22 delivery from Verizon and Apple quickly moved shipping dates further out and is now sitting at 10/16.

I usually go through Apple just because it's always smooth. Today it sucked and Verizon worked, so all good.

My date is the 29th, any chance it will ship early next week?

Verizon already has their allotment in the us?

Maybe. I wouldn't get my hopes too high, but there have been orders pulled in in the past, so I wouldn't rule it out.

I suppose I should say when it ships, it is shipping from one of many US warehouses vs. China like many of the Apple direct orders. May or may not already be here, but will be by the beginning of the week at the latest.

Placed order this morning. Release date delivery. 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural!

BTW, I did speak to a rep again this morning regarding the trade-in, and this is where we got.

I tried to order from Apple as well, and by the time I got in and everything finally worked it had a delivery date in early October. Was really bummed for a few seconds until I tried through Verizon and got a launch day 15PM.

Super bummed Apple fell down this morning, because I would have much rather ordered through Apple for the "instant" trade in credit vs all credits being on the bill. But, happy it went through, and a bonus is I'll be able to bring my trade in to the local store instead of having to ship it.

I feel the exact same way. Would prefer the upfront $435 credit but I've been with the same company, which is now Verizon, for over 20 years. In the end for me, 36 bill credits will be just fine.

Also I did appreciate seeing drop off in store as a trade option. I've had the nightmare of FedEx having a weird issue with their tracking, which showed delivered when I looked, but wasn't registering in Verizon's automated system somewhere and it wouldn't issue credit. Got it sorted but glad I don't have to deal with that again.

I thought the $1000 trade in value required you to start a new line of service? If you are upgrading a phone on an existing line, it was $830 trade in value/credit?

I traded in my 3 year old 12 Pro Max Gold 256GB and ordered a 15 Pro Max Natural 512GB. I’ll end up paying about $15 a month which isn’t too bad. I generally keep my phones for 3-4 years so that will work for me.

Hope Stacy was able to get her order in over on the Apple site OK ?
It was a nightmare. I had both iPads and my phone ready. The iPad pro was on safari and the iPad mini was on the Apple Store app. Neither one loaded until after 8:30am. My iPhone didn’t get in until 8:17am, but my preorder wouldn’t load for about 2 minutes, then it showed up, only to tell me there was some issue with my trade-in. Finally at 8:21am, everything went through with a delivery date of 9/22.

I specifically called my credit union and informed them of the charge amount and the merchant, and they still flagged it as fraud. I got that text around 9:45am, called them, and within 10 minutes I was able to process my card again. Ordering through Apple was a **** show this year. A lot of people had IT issues. I might preorder through Verizon and just pay in full.

I originally ordered through Verizon for delivery on 9/22, but I noticed that my local Best Buy had some 15 Pro Max available for in store pickup on release day. I ended up cancelling my Verizon order and trying my hand with Best Buy in store pickup. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake...

They gave me $830 for an iPhone 12 Pro 128gb. I’m on the Play More Unlimited plan.

That’s not true. I ended up getting a new line and trading in an old IPhone SE 1st Gen. got the full $1k.

I will warn though that in order to receive the $1k you need the highest Unlimited plan

Traded in my 11 Pro Max 256 for the 15 Pro Max 512 for the $830 trade in credit. Not bad for an extra $15/month. Guess I'll wait for iPhone 19 or iPhone 20 now 😂

Really didn't need to get rid of the 11 pro max, but didn't want to miss out on getting the max amount for trade in. Love the green...if only they brought that back.

The preorder I did with Verizon last year for my Ultra was spot on with the date of delivery. I got my tracking number 2-3 days before delivery, and it was to be delivered by UPS, until they lost it in their warehouse.

If you have a UPS MyChoice membership and a FedEx account, you should get a notification when you have a pending order arriving at your home. Sometimes you’ll get that tracking number before Verizon send it to you.
