I was able to upgrade my phone on Verizon at 7:57 AM. Was offered the $830 upgrade trade in. I looked back at my old receipts (yay for not deleting emails) and my last upgrade was 09/09/2019. This upgrade was long overdue! Being that I kept this iPhone 11 Pro for 4 years the 36-month payment installment plan should not be any issue for me. I'm excited.

Verizon started the whole 36 payments instead of 24 payments last year. I upgrade annually. The only issue was due to the lower payments per month I had not paid off the 50% of the device required to upgrade so as part of the transaction this morning I had to pay about $200 per phone I upgraded to get to the 50% (I get my wife and I a new iPhone every year... I'm nuts). Not really any different than before because I've been paying LOWER payments as a result of the 36 month plan per month, so it all balances out the same in the end.

Whelp got my order in. Wanted to go black 512 but every time I click that option it would end up showing up as blue in the order screen. Not that big of issue bc I was having hard time between natural or black. So tried Natural and that order work fine. So guess my phone and ultra watch will match this year.

time to start the long wait then the fun post "my screen is blue,yellow,pink tint" we get every year.

Got my order in but not without trouble. My debit card I was using for payment got declined twice while there is plenty of money in there. Finally got it to go through and now my delivery date says 09/29 Within 5 minutes it went from the 22nd to the 29th

This is for 15 Pro Max 1TB

Ordered 3 phones in 3 transactions on Verizon app--2 Pro Max and 1 Pro, all 256 gb, with 9/22 delivery date. Only snafu was Verizon Visa card declining the 2nd transaction for potential fraud, but it eventually went through. Good grief!!!

Did anyone else see that on the 15 Pro Max there were two blacks? One had the 512GB option and the other did not, so I selected the one that had the 512 of course. Order placed and it's saying blue...

The check out process was a breeze except for all the product offers and insurance pages I declined. But the app held up nicely and in received a 9/22 delivery.

The Apple Store app still shows almost there!!!! The Apple website appears to be working though.

Yep. One line we could pay $233 and trade in. The other, they wanted $933. Both phones were bought on launch day last year. Makes zero sense.

I had that issue because I had the apple store replace my iPhone a few months ago, so verizon isn’t detecting the same iPhone… So I had to order through apple this time.

I did, phone I traded in is a iPhone 12 that I’ve had and now used for 3 years. So for my usage it makes sense to take the 36 month credit and get a pro max for $830 off.

Finally! Took me 30 minutes to place my order. We made decisions about plans and phones based on what trade-in information was on Apple on Tuesday afternoon which was apparently wrong. Totally different trade-in amounts today. But because I was trying to check the Apple site, which would not load, before placing the order through Verizon it was a BIG process.

It has always been so smooth in years past so I guess this was my turn for some hick-ups. Either way - 15Plus Blue and 15Plus Green set for delivery on Friday. Choosing to return our phones to a Verizon store instead of mail return this year so that will be new.

You still have to pay taxes.

Actually had some trouble this year with verizon and had to cancel + reorder. Their online portal struggles with adding an apartment number. when i added:

MyAddress
APT 309
CITY, STATE

it kept translating that to:

APTMyAddres309,309, City State

had to just leave the apartment number off and figure it out when it ships.
That being said looks like verizon had plenty of inventory still for pro max shipping on first day (9/22) still whereas apple is already pushing back into october
