Thanks, have you done multiple lines? I need to upgrade 2 lines, one for Pro Max and one for Pro. Wonder which one I should do first.
I am doing the same thing and I am doing the Pro Max first. I think most of the idiots that wake up early to preorder the minute it’s released are the tech idiots like us who most want the best of the best so Pro Max will be the one to be picked first.

The Verizon pre-order thread does not seem (to me) to be nearly as busy as past years. I’m wondering if that is an indication of less demand for the iPhone 15. I know the only reason I am upgrading is because I mistakenly went down to the standard iPhone 13 size 2 years ago, want to go back to the big screen.
Most people are probably on the main upgrade thread. I created this one for those who may upgrade through Verizon and not Apple.

Doesn’t matter the storage. Even 1T gets $650. That’s where they are getting more money this year by forcing those who want the pro max to get 256GB, and giving less money for the trade in’s.
I’m selling my 14PM 512GB to Decluttr for $850. I’ll take $200 extra.

Even though I’m preordering through Apple, every time I go onto the Verizon app or through Safari to view their promo, I keep getting an error screen. This make me glad I chose Apple over going through Verizon. Who knows what would happen tomorrow.

Has anyone had issues with shipping to a different address than your standard billing address? I’m considering getting it shipped to work to avoid the fuss around the signature issues/Verizon’s shipping restrictions, but I’d hate to get a cancellation. For some reason, I vaguely recall folks having issues in years past.
I would call who ever card you are using to order with and make sure the work address is added to the account as a approved address ship/order with.

What's the benefit of ordering via Apple over Verizon?
I’ve found the Apple App faster for me to order my device and I pay in full, so that I avoid making payments through Verizon. Also I buy the unlocked version thats not tied to a carrier so that I can avoid the $35 upgrade fee. My anxiety pretty much won’t let me preorder through Verizon vs Apple.

If my original order financing through Verizon doesn’t go through tomorrow morning, I am just buying the phone outright. I have an extra pre order setup to just buy the phone up front.

Since the Verizon article is not at all descriptive about what plans CURRENT customers need to have to be eligible for the $830, I messaged customer service. This was my response. Riveting stuff. I'm willing to bet the information on Apple's fine print for their Verizon offer is the correct info.

I hate how they want you to change to the more expensive plan in order to take advantage of the promos.

If we go through Apple and choose Verizon carrier option. Who do we send the old phones to? Verizon or Apple?

i bought the 14 pro max on launch day last year. Think I am on the 36 month upgrade program with Verizon. I’m getting the two options below when i go to check out. If I’m reading this correctly if I do the first option I’m eligible for the promotion and if I do the second option Im not eligible for promotion but can still trade-in/upgrade??

Pay off your device's remaining balance of $763.75.
This will make this device eligible for trade-in.

Pay $213.75 and return your device.
You'll pay 50% of device's balance and return it in good condition.
This will make this device ineligible for trade-in.

I acknowledge that this device is not eligible for my selected promo and is in good condition (turns on, has no battery damage and no front or back screen cracks).
If Find My iPhone is on when we receive your device, there may be a delay processing your trade-in credit. To turn this feature off: Settings > Apple ID > Find My iPhone.

You are correct, the first option will give you the possibility to trade in. I made an account just to respond to you lol 😂

I've upgraded annually through Verizon for 10 years now. This was the easiest ever. Opened 2.5 minutes EARLY, upgraded two phones in two transactions, zero lag, zero issue. Started just before 6:58 am central was done with both by 7:02 and already have email confirmations. Nice job Verizon.
