Which iPhone 15 variant will you be pre-ordering?

Anyone else have their order "on hold" to accept more disclosures, and when you do that, it still says on hold? Not sure if it just needs time to update or if there is a problem.

Where in the app do I go to pay off the $213 which is 50% of my device plan? It won’t let me upgrade or trade in until I do that.

I was able to preorder my phones online. A few bumps in the road but I got the confirmation email

2 iPhone 15
2 iPhone 15 pro

Is the iPhone bought under the Verizon installment plan unlocked if bought directly through Apple? I know Verizon does 60 days locked usually if bought through their store.

Wife and I were going to switch to TMobile to take advantage of their $1,000 trade in offer but the site wasn’t working properly. Called an audible and pre-ordered two 128gb iPhone 15 Pro phones with Verizon. Scheduled to arrive on the 22nd. 👍

Yes, unlocked. Only AT&T phones bought through the Apple Store on an AT&T installment plan are locked.

I read a few pages back that ordering from Apple.com would be easier, so I tried that. Nothing but errors. It kept telling me that the trade-in option was not available, etc by the time it was sorted out, the delivery date was already pushed into October. I logged onto my Verizon account and got it taken care of.

White Titanium 256gb PM
Order went through at 7:34 am (CST)
Delivery: 9/22

Login in at 7 and it was a breeze. Ordered 3 phones and got the $830 credit for all 3 phones. Didn't have to change my plan.

Finally got my order through for an iPhone 15 Pro Max 256gb, but date slipped to the 29th. Hopefully it gets bumped up!

wondering if anyone doing trade in over 36 month credit

Traded in my paid off iPhone 11 Pro 256 GB for the iPhone 15 Pro 512 GB. I accepted the $830 credit and got down to $14 payments over 36 months. I haven't upgraded my phone in 4 years so 36 months should be no problem for me. I also think $830 is a pretty good deal for an iPhone 11 Pro. The Apple site only offered me $250.

I was able to complete the purchase of five iPhone Pro Max 512GB Black Titanium by 5:05 AM PDT for an estimated delivery of Friday, September 22.

We'll see if that actually happens this year.

I purchased them all separately. Unfortunately, Verizon systems only generated one set of receipts.

Verizon documents and receipts page:

6 Next Bill Summary
1 Purchase Receipt
1 Equipment Purchase

Thankfully, the Equipment Purchase document is readable, otherwise cancelling AppleCare next year would be near impossible. When cancelling AppleCare paid in-full, purchased through a third party Apple requires proof of purchase.

Did anyone else who made multiple orders only get one set of receipts?

Same here, was able to log in to Verizon and had the order ready to go in minutes. Kept the window open while I tried for 15 minutes to order via Apple and it just kept giving me errors. When I finally got into Apple the delivery date had slipped to Mid Oct so I just processed my open window in Verizon and delivery is set for 9/22. What a damn hassle for no reason…

This is what I don’t understand when every craps on the 36 month bill payment. If you keep it the full 36 months it’s a crazy trade in value. If you end up trading in 24 months from now, you lose the last 12 months of bill credits. That means Verizon still paid you $554 for a phone that Apple was only offering $250. I don’t see why people believe you are getting ripped off. Of course I would prefer the credits over 24 months, but $554 is still a good deal compared to the crazy deal of $830 for a 4 year old phone…

I pre-ordered the iPhone 15 Pro today from Apple full price and chose the activate with any carrier later option. I have a BYOD discount currently on my iPhone 12 and I’ll be trading in my phone to Apple. I spoke to Verizon a couple of times and they assured me that my discount will remain in place but I keep reading mixed things on it online. Is it easy to activate an e-sim phone from my iPhone 12? The only thing that should change on my Verizon account will be that a new phone will show on my account instead of my iPhone 12 right and nothing in terms of the plan should change? Thanks

Verizon started the whole 36 payments instead of 24 payments last year. I upgrade annually. The only issue was due to the lower payments per month I had not paid off the 50% of the device required to upgrade so as part of the transaction this morning I had to pay about $200 per phone I upgraded to get to the 50% (I get my wife and I a new iPhone every year... I'm nuts). Not really any different than before because I've been paying LOWER payments as a result of the 36 month plan per month, so it all balances out the same in the end.
My post didn’t age well 🤣

The Apple website was having issues so I hopped on Verizon’s site and got launch day shipping for my iPhone 15 PM 512 in titanium and my Ultra 2.

I agree with this. We keep our phones 3+ years unless my husband gets another one to spark/smoke so the 36 month bill credits is fine. Just makes it a bit trickier when we pass the parent phones down to the kids and we have to "swap device" after they arrive to get the right lines on the right phones. But we've done it before without too much hassle. It seems like anything older than 4 years gets practically nothing for trade in toward the newest model but 3-4 years has been getting the full trade in value which is amazing.

Is the delivery date they give you with verizon pretty solid? Is there anyway to track where its moving like people that order through apple?
