yep just contacted again, and tbh all the can do is tell you exactly what it says on your account page.

I ordered a 7+ 128GB Black, placed my order at 13.13pm on the Friday.

Still no update on shipping for it, so 100% it will not be arriving tomorrow... Worth a punt i suppose

Have you read very.co.uk return 'open box' policy HA HA HA actually its not funny.
http://returnspolicy.net/v/very/

" The item must not have been used or altered in any way. For items that have some parts missing at purchase, Very offers to send the missing parts or replace the item in entirety. Security tags and original labels that were on the item must also be intact and attached to the item. The customer should also attach a returned goods note on the package."

I'd give this Barclay Bros company a VERY wide berth.
The words touch - barge pole - wouldn't come to mind.

My Royal Mail tracking for the iPhone says delivery by 19th (though it says tomorrow if Saturday delivery is advised) but the Watch doesn't say RM have it yet. Interestingly the phone was despatched from Apple to Very four hours after the Watch so I wonder if Very have put them into one parcel? Either way I want the phone more than anything and that's in Swindon so it should be at my local sorting office in the early hours for delivery tomorrow!

I'd return it and buy elsewhere - apple - JLP - amazon what if you have " buyers remorse"? this company wont give a hoot about your used iPhone it is now yours for good.

I've been a customer for a good few years and have always been aware of items that don't meet their returns approval. Items that have been faulty they have repaired or return with no quibble and have also taken items for return from me even after the 28 day window is up. 90% of my electrical and clothing purchases are from their website, I would be lost without the Take 3 and interest free BNPL if settled before the time is up!

I don't think anyone handing over £700+ is doing it expecting to hand it back. At least I'm not. If it breaks then that's a different matter.

Yup and if you need to repair just take it to Apple. Once it arrives no longer need to deal with Very so I dunno what the big deal is

Sorry but WHAT ON EARTH has faulty goods got to do with this.
I'm taking RETURNS policy.

• JLP 30+ days
• amazon.co.uk 30 days
• apple 14 days
......

very.co.uk zero, zilch, nothing , nil, 0 days once box opened NO return. FULL STOP.

Return it UNOPENED and dont take the chance its too much money to gamble if you are not 100% happy.

Cheers

UPDATE - still nothing, but Very have offered to refund the postage costs (as its not looking likely it will arrive today). Hopefully it will dispatch later tonight and I will have an iPhone shaped surprise tomorrow.

Very give you 28 days return unless as you say it's opened. If buyers don't agree with that then they are free to shop elsewhere but I don't mind the policy because I'll only be returning the phone if it's broken which fingers crossed it won't be. And that only applies to most electrical items and consumables not every item that they sell.

The iPhone might not meet your expectations you should have the RIGHT to return item if not 100% happy (within say 14 days) you need to be totally happy you cant gaurantee that with the Speke, Liverpool based Very.co.uk with their owners living in a castle on an Island off Guernsey avoiding tax.
ps
nothing against the twins fair play they have done well in life - maybe by the way they do business.

If they are a UK company and we are in the UK making the purchase, are they not held to UK law? I can surely send back any item I order online within the legality

They are based in the UK then you can fight your corner and I'm betting they will fall in line. Last month I ordered an iPad Pro keyboard case from them. When it arrived I was tired, not paying attention and it wasn't till I opened it (fully out plastic wrapping), I realised it was for the 12" pro and not my 9" one. I didn't even message them. I filled out the returns form took it to a collect plus place and about a week later my account says item retuned and all was good. So it all depends, not everyone has a bad experience.

I'm sorry many many returns to say JLP or amazon are products that are in perfect condition but dont meet the buyers expectations.
Dont take the risk.
If it was £15.00 I wouldn't be warning folk. £700 is a heck of a lot of money to be 75% happy oh I cant return it.
Buyers remorse to "factor in too" things can change in 7 days.

I'm in business when we have a Directors meeting I'm always the one that says "okay what could go wrong" then I say what is our plan B if things go wrong.
We bought a referb iphone 6 from amazon 4 weeks ago I have asked "how is that iPhone 6" about 10 times before the return time expired.
So I ask this question-
very.co.uk customers what is your plan B if you are not 100% happy (as you should be at this kind if money) what is YOUR plan B?
Answers on a postcard below please.....

Deany, you're on the wrong thread. We don't care what you say. :)

Yes obviously under 25 years old who doesn't show respect to olders - born July 1964.
Learn from other peoples mistakes not your own.
Cheers

I want a pint of what ever you've had. Why on earth would anyone spend £700 on something without first researching whether it's for them or not?! You obviously have your own personal beef with Very for what ever reason, who cares?! Get over it, our purchases are not your problem therefore your input is not needed, nor wanted.

I have no problem with very on under £10.00 items
I was born in Liverpool and am
proud of that. Very are great for the Merseyside economy.
My Beef as you call it (not an expression I would use) is their once box opened its "No Way Jose" to returns (assuming no fault) I feel that is wrong.
Folk need time with this sort of money to really make sure this is a good investment.
Q: What makes this deal so much better than going direct to apple (when they have stock)
how much are you saving.
If I wasn't holding out till June'17 despite being due an upgrade)
I'd go for the matte black 256GB 7 and happy to wait a month.
What would I get price wise from very with my dream 2016 iPhone 7 (we all know what I'd get return policy wise if not 100% happy) but lets move on from that its getting boring.
ps
with regard to your perfect research comment.I was lucky enough to watch Neil and Buzz live but research can come at a cost-
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_1 400,000 people were involved in that research.
