Hey all!

It has been shipped! Yeah! Hurray! Ordered on 24 Oct.
Don't have a working carrier tracking id. It should be TNT for Switzerland I think. Anyone has a working Tracking for TNT yet?

Edit: Apple says it'll arrive on 23th November. I hope this is just an automatic message...

Ordered a i5 on the 23rd of October trough Apple Store Switzerland. Status still not shipped

I also have this kind of tracking page without any tracking number and carrier. But on the US Apple Store I have Kuhne & Nagel Tracking ID for the iMac and SYNCREON for the Apple Care... Anyone knows anything about that?

SAME FOR ME! I'm in Switzerland

I have a tracking number that doesn't work on their website. It is a 20 digit code...

Does anyone know how to track the package? Many threads talk about this company and tell to go here (www.apecode.com/appletrack/) but it doesnt work anymore!
Thanks

r u able to print the invoice?

So I just checked my order status by phoning Apple, and a friendly American guy told me that it is estimated for the end of November. As well he hopes that I will receive it before December, but it could be that I get it within the first days of December.

I asked if the USA gets it before Europe, and he said no. There is 2 different systems for shipping to USA and Europe. He as well admited partly because of where the iMacs are produced.

I mentioned that I have a friend in the USA that ordered similar iMac to me and already has it. The Apple guy was surprised.

Well, I can't wait to get my i7 in Scotland. Generally the courrier companies, here, are good. UPS and DHL are not always great but TNT is fantastic.

Have you got any accessories or other items attached to your order? If you do, you may want to do a search on the Apple website and see whether they are in stock or not. I had a printer attached to mines and when I was ordering my system over the phone, they didnt tell me that the printer had a 3-4 week delivery time on it. Apple will hold back until all items are available in your order.

p.s. its a waste of time calling the reps, as you can see from this thread - its evident that these orders are shipping and a few are on their way to glasgow as we speak :D

I got a similar response when I called apple yesterday and when I said I had a friend that ordered about a week after me and has had notification that his is on the way he just repeated VERY firmly that "all quad core 27" imacs where on back order and have not shipped" So I thought "yeah OK.. you know ****"

Innnteresting. I don't see any estimated shipping date on my UPS.ca tracking...

Is this what your tracking page looks like?

UPS is a 100 year old shipping company. They don't know how to predict time of arrivals. They just throw the package on the horse and it gets there when it gets there.

FedEx on the other hand, they are on top of things. They actually use this thing called GPS. UPS has no idea what all this GPS business is about. They're old fogies and think it's a bunch of technological hullabaloo.

Just like here in the U.S. UPS breaks your packages and brings them whenever the horse arrives (i.e. whenever they damn feel like it) and FedEx beats their estimated delivery times. :)

I think we need an emoticon guy holding a FedEx flag.

Try putting your 81 number in the in the TNT box and select ref... see if you can find it that way. Thats how I have done it in the past

http://www.tnt.com/webtracker/tracker.do?navigation=1&respLang=en&respCountry=GB&genericSiteIdent=

The 81 number doesn't work yet for me. I read on other forums (very old messages) that the TNT number is only active when they arrive in holland...

TNT doesn't ship the product from China to Holland. For me it is Kuhne & Nagel and when it is Holland TNT ships your product locally...

r u able to print the invoice?

Not anymore...

Bizarre... Hope you'll get yours shipped this week too ;)

That shipping exception (missing pickup I imagine) caused an entire days delay. Blast!

At least it is finally on its way to Alaska. There will be plenty of pics once it comes.

It means it's finally leaving China ;) They surely need the Invoice to pass the customs ;)

In the UK we don't get a tracking number until it reaches the final courier (i.e. 1 [working] day before delivery). The yuse another company to send it to the UK - Kühne + Nagel. There used to be a 'back door' that apecode used to track it, but this hasn't worked for a while now.

STILL coming from Shanghai?!?!?!?

The last update on my tracking was @ 2:17 am on 11/11 as "in transit" from Shanghai. Shouldn't there have been an update by now? Did my new iMac get caught in some kind of wormhole over the Pacific? Arghhhhhhhh!

@Arism
I envy youuuuuuuuu!

I would say that Canada and the US are on the same system and treated much as the same other than taxes and the part about customs... I ordered mine on the first day and it should be arriving at my house today according to the tracking number. Sometimes I wonder how we actually became two countries afterall - we are so glued together economically. By the way. All three packages were shipped earlier than I was initially told. Furthermore, when I called in late October, a guy said mine would likely ship out around November 5th... he was not far off... I feel like a 5 year old kid at Christmas!

this is my status...ahs been standing still at shanghai airport for more than 20 hours...

it just takes a bit more than an hour for a flight to arrive Hong Kong from Shanghai...

I think they have whole lot of iMac waiting to get on the plane at the airport...

Join the crowd. Mine is going to the US but seems to be moving around the airport and nowhere else... So much for 2 day delivery.

Yeah, I think Apple knew the 2-day delivery was
a sham and that everyone would get the same
treatment. No wonder they were so happy to
upgrade everyone upon request.

Prepared for Shipment! Awesome!!

i7 Quad, 8GB RAM, 1TB DRIVE. Ordered on the 20th. CANCELED order on the 27th. Reordered on the 29th. (For the education discount)

I thought I would lose 9 days but apparently not. Should be here by the beginning of next week.
