Anyone with a W65**** order prefix able to let me know whats going on with their package? And also give a few more digits of their order #. I'm W6573*** and just trying to track where everything is at.

Thanks

Finally shipped. Cant Wait!!

Not exactly two day shipping though. Shipped 11/13/09 @ 12:20AM Expected delivery 11/17/09!

I know the weekend doesn't help......

Mine (i7/8GB/1TB, 10/29) shipped to Dublin last night, "Merge in Transit GB" and expected delivery date 26/11. They'd better do better than that, because my Applecare went into effect on 12/11! No tracking number yet either: anyone know how long it takes for the UK/IE orders to get numbers?

I've got exactly the same as you, also thought it was amusing that my Applecare went into effect on 12/11 but delivery estimate is 26/11. I'm guessing that our packages may not have been collected by the courier yet, hence no tracking number, and when they are a more acceptable delivery date may appear - anyone else have any other advice on this? Also think I'll give Applecare a call on delivery of my iMac to shift it's commencement date.

@spcdust, I think the shipping to here is done differently to the US. Could be that the pallet is in the air but we won't get shipping until it's split in Europe. I can't remember the order my MacBook Air went through when I got it: I have a horrible feeling it was scanned in Ireland, then went to the UK and back again or something stupid like that but I might be imagining it. Anyway, it'll be Monday at the earliest, probably Tuesday, I'd guess.

To be fair, in the past Apple haven't quibbled about a few days on Applecare - I got something replaced when it was arguable whether it had expired or not.

The folks at ifixit.com did that. They did a teardown of the 27" as soon as it was available. It's a bit hard to find on their site, so I hope they don't mind that I posted a direct link.

lol i'm sure they won't.
I knew they did a teardown, I didn't know they made wallpapers out of it!

Thanks for that - I can imagine a whole pallet being shipped to Ireland as the local Apple distribution hub and and then being split for delivery . Basically I'll be happy if I have delivery by the end of next week.

It really depends on the courier they're using: it could be Cork, somewhere obscure in the UK, Amsterdam or wherever - depends if they're mixing UK/IE and other EU orders or not.

Is yours exactly the same config as mine?

Has anyone who ordered in Nov received a ship notification

I haven't seen one.

Which means they are still processing Oct orders.

Sad

Almost 2 days now with no movement at all (considering that its the chinese time in the tracking), what are they waiting for?? Normally it should already be in the Netherlands shouldnt it?

Ordered an I5 in Switzerland on the 21th...

Exactly the same, plus 1TB Time Capsule and Applecare all ordered via the Education store on the 22nd October 2009. Basically I'm happy it's on it's way and hopefully we'll get more specific carrier info in the next few days.

There were a couple i5 buyers from November who shipped, but that's about it. There are still people from Oct 20-23rd who haven't shipped if you look in the other thread. They're not even close to getting to mine (11/5).

i7 2tb 4gb ram. Ordered on 10/27, shipped out on 11/12, scheduled for deliver on 11/17. Just checked this morning, and the location has now changed from Anchorage to Oakland, CA! (I live near Sacramento). Unfortunately, the estimated delivery date still remains 11/17 :(.

Anyone know if fedex delivers on Saturdays for regular shipping? This'll be my first mac, so the anticipation is doubly intense!

It's here.

Standard i7, ordered 24/10 on the UK online store. Shipped from Shanghai on the 11th and delivered to North Wales today around 11am.

Delivery route was:
Shanghai, Incheon Korea, Warsaw Poland, East Midlands Airport.

From there to the local UPS depot in Deeside.

I ordered an i7 on 11/3 with iWork preinstalled through the education store. The order number was W6560****. I have had a hold on the money in my account since Sunday night and just woke up to find it Prepared to Ship.

EDIT: I'm in Chicago.

Another night and no change from UPS. It's been stuck on some loading dock in Shanghai since Nov 10. The final delivery date of Nov 17th is still holding but I've mentally prepared myself for a delay.

Anyone else from Canada experiencing a similar situation?

I doubt it will make you feel better, but my imac has been "in transit" in Shahghai for days now.

I ordered mine on the 9th of November, and it shipped the next day. Should be here tomorrow or Monday. Which brings me to my question...

My iMac is at my local sorting facility as of this morning; does that mean there's a chance it will be delivered tomorrow? It says it'll come Monday, but it's already here, so why not put it on the truck for tomorrow?

Congratulation on getting your new iMac. Did they give you a tracking number right from the off or did you have to wait a while to get assigned one?

LOUISVILLE, KY, US 13/11/2009 6:10 PKG DELAY-ADD'L SECURITY CHECK BY GOV'T OR OTHER AGENCY- BEYOND UPS CONTROL

Infuriating! Going to call UPS up in a bit and see if they can offer me any more information on what this 'security check' is and how long it'll take.

It was a few days between 'prepared to ship' and 'shipped'. Then it took at most a couple of hours for the tracking page to be updated with the UPS tracking number.

Thanks Rick. Where is yours going?

Puget Sound, Washington.

It went to 'in transit' two days ago and hasn't changed. The remote has been "Int'l shipment release" since mid day yesterday. They are somewhere...I'm sure of that. ;) I'm just disappointed that my money for faster shipping resulted in none of it, so I will call Apple and get it refunded.

Hmmmmmm, interesting as my status on the Apple site went to shipped 14 hours ago but as yet no tracking number has been assigned.
