Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

Ordered on the 11/11, but the hold on my card disappeared yesterday.

Decided to call Apple today to make sure there was no problem with the payment. He told me it was all fine, and they're just waiting for the graphics card :rolleyes:.

Mine went PFS about sat lunch time and then first thing Monday morning I got an email saying it was shipping with a delivery date of the 20th. This then changed by mid afternoon to the 18th when UPS received the shipping details.

hopefully it wont be too long for yours

Also Justin, UPS use East Midlands Airport as one of their major UK bases, so I shouldn't think you'll be waiting long in the Nottingham/Midlands area for delivery once the shipment has arrived in the country. We're pretty lucky in that respect.

Key thing is whether you ordered extra bits like Applecare or a remote. If you did you'll get a 'Merge in Transit GB' & that means they add the bits in UK & you won't get a tracking number until last minute. I did this & got my tracking number this morning & the news it was 'out for delivery'-waiting for UPS white-van-man now.
If you didn't-great, you'll get Johnrs's timescale + the fun of tracking it from Shanghai & know roughly where it is like our US friends. Hope you get it soon.

Just got the confirmation of shipping this morning!!!! Getting it by the 24th, here's to hoping it's sooner than that!:)

Congrats! I've been watching for your updates in particular since I thought we had ordered on the same day. In fact, I made a mistake and my order was placed on 11/12.

I'm hoping that means mine will go PFS tomorrow. ;)
 
order 12th nov PFS 18th nov

I ordered my i5 (stock model) 12th Nov 8.30 pm in the UK.
Today (18th) it just turned prepared for shipping.
 
A bit upset, but I don't think my iMac is going to make it today. FedEx still shows an On Schedule expected delivery of 12:00 PM today, but the status has not yet changed from 'In Transit - Anchorage AK'.

Siiggggghh..... Got up early and everything. Not another day off work until Saturday either.

Seeing UK orders made around the 11/12th being prepared for shipment is making me ever more optimistic that mine (Nov 13) wont be that far behind. Though looking back at Apple’s recent record of seemingly disregarding the ‘first come’ system is also making me a little hesitant to get excited. I suppose it arrives when it arrives.

Are there many people still waiting on orders from October/early November?

Ooh! Gives me hope for mine -- I ordered mine the day after (November 16). Hopefully this means their December 1 shipping estimate is as far off as I hope it is! :D
 
The charge for the i7 hit my card this morning, and I paid it. Status is still 'origin scan' in Shanghai. So UPS is aware of it in some sense anyways. Delivery is still scheduled for Monday the 23rd.
