Damn shipping exception:mad: Looks like monday now. At least it shipped:D One thing I hate FedEX for it that if it arrives early, they may not put it on the truck to deliver it Friday. If that's the case, I will go pick it up myself (I've had to do that before).

That is exactly what mine just did.. makes me cry a little inside.
 
Fedex picked up my remote from Shenzhen, it should be here Friday. The iMac just left Shanghai. They say by the 18th. I hope that extra I spent on shipping will get it to me Friday or Saturday.

I'm so excited! My iMac is on a boat! Ok, a plane. But it is nearly here!!

My W6564x order is still showing Not Yet Shipped. Apple made a pre-auth on my card yesterday, but it wasn't an official charge. I'm in the US and got a base Quad + i7.

I suspect it'll ship late this week or early next.

Mine is also shipped via UPS and it's still in China.

On a sidenote: does anyone know if I'm not home on the delivery date, is it possible to pick it up myself the same way you can with Purolator?
 
Just saw the details. Yeah I missed the cutoff too. I guess they don't do Saturday deliveries? Mine is going straight to my mailbox (a UPS store) so I'll probably be iMac-less until Monday. My remote and Newegg RAM can soothe me I suppose. I'm just glad to actually KNOW it is on the way.

My i5 has just been delivered!!! Finally!! ugh and I am stuck at work:( man this is going to be a loooooong day!

How did you notice you missed the cutoff? My UPS track only shows Shanghai original scan.....

Incidentally, if you were one of the many who got 2-3 shipping, UPS looks like they will deliver on Saturdays...I looked up what UPS Express shipping has baked in and it's 2-3 days from Asia AND Saturday deliveries....(Expedited is the normal ship method)
 
my i7 is at Shanghai Airport now...considering it only takes a little more than an hour to fly from Shanghai to Hong Kong...it should be arriving mid-night/early morning tomorrow

Don't know if it would be delivered tomorrow afternoon :D

Absolutely! and comparisons as this is going to replace my 27 imac I currently have. Now just crossing my fingers in hope that everything works first time around!
 
Has anybody talked to someone at an Apple store to see if they have them in stock or if they know when they are getting them in stock?
