Well if the UPS delivery method doesn't give it away, I guess you could always go back to previous posts where I say exactly what you're after....
Not seeing anyone else (including you) putting location in their footer or in every message they post....didn't see the need either...
Sorry to sound like a jerk butcould you post a shot of the shipping page sayin it was delivered?

I have a FedEx tracking number for the i7 I ordered Oct. 20th. Apple says it will be here the 16th (Monday), but FedEx tracking says it's on time for delivery on the 13th (Friday). Either way, it's all good. I'm using the iphone app "Deliveries" to keep tabs on it.
Somewhat off topic, but relevant for many of us, what is the preferred mode of transferring to a new Mac: iMac to iMac via firewire 800, or from time capsule via ethernet? I have about 500GB to move, so I'll be happy to hear any wisdom you might have. Thanks!

I bought mine at the Education store and I received a Prepared for Shipment update sometime last night. Ordered a Core i7, 2TB HDD, everything else standard on Oct. 27th. And I live in Michigan.
Just called abot 15min ago and I was placed in hold for a long time.
When they got back to the phone the rep was out of breath and said she didn't know, just keep looking at the apple site for updaes.
My assumption is that she was out of breath because they are being unloaded right now ;-) one can only wish right? Haha
but I'm off today, so I might swing by later thus afternoon just to double-check
Nope, I ordered my i7 with an education discount. It shipped over 9 hours ago. I live in the Midwest, USA. The discount does not make a difference.

I am near the Boston Area. I am at work so not able to post a screen shot of the Delivered Status. It was delivered via Fedex. it was suppose to be here tomorrow but arrived ahead of schedule. It shipped on the 9th and arrived today. Later tonight I can supply you with the proof of delivery but I'll post Pics of the unboxing insteadI called the apple (i am based in the UK) to check my order as its was changed from a regular order to EDU one as I found out I was able to register as a student due to the 3 year course I am on. This was on Saturday so i called them up today just to check my order was not on hold still while the change went through and the rep told me that my order was still OK and all imacs are still on back order, so when I asked about peoples in the UK being prepared for shipment & some shipping already he just repeated himself again "all 27" quad cores are on back order"

My experience from calling Apple is not so much to trust the reps with regards to shipment info on the quads. I called yesterday and wasn't suppose to get any shipment info until after the 14th.
I've got my tracking info with arrival for Monday.
So I just called the Apple Store myself to see if they had any in stock or were getting any in stock and both got a very quick no. Maybe they have been getting this question a lot lately. I wish I could have just ordered online, but living so close to Delaware means there is no sales tax and that is the way to go for sure.

Someone asked for other scandinavian/norwegian experience, and I can tell you mine.
For all those people complaining about not getting "prepared for shipment"; relax. I ordered my i7, 2TB, 8GB RAM machine the same day they were put up (at night, so techically oct 21.), and mine stilll says "November". I am also one of those cases where it says "cancelled" under my order, although it's my second order and only the first one was cancelled (I upgraded to an i7). I also have a "cancel" button, so I guess my active order is not cancelled.
But in my experience, Norway, "the richest country in the world", is usually left out in the cold as far as releasedates go. I was hoping for a november delivery, but that hope is fading rapidly. I'm guessing December then..

Yes... finally! My i5 is finally shipped... however, I supposedly was "upgraded" to 2-day shipping but it still displays it as taking 5 days... what gives?
