I ordered the same from the normal Canadian store on 10/20. Got an email saying est delivery of 11/18 but the UPS tracking says 11/13. I originally paid for 2-3 day shipping but they waived the fee.

Only once they can satisfy a '1-2 Days' shipping advisory will they put it online.

So im guessing if there starting to fill everyone's orders... and it hasn't hit mid november yet, they should definitely give it an official shipping date before the end of november? :confused:

Yeah, that was my-bad. I caught on after reading it a few times. That's actually a big question of mine too. Somebody help us out here!

I would imagine that they will keep the date to November for now as shipping these orders will take a while and would not be surprised that they will go out of stock again very soon and the date on the website will change to December

Same as me....UPS says 13th....shipped out today....

UPS Express service apparently is 2 business days from Asia....so we might just have it for the weekend to play!:D
 
Well well well , looks like the shipping has been started. But for me not yet. It's a shame.

Ordered i7 @ 10/22 @ The Netherlands.
 
I'm actually holding out from ordering to see if I can snag a stock i5 from my local Apple Retail store. It's right down the road from where I work, and hopefully I can get one before they sell out and it would be quicker than ordering one at this point I'm sure. I mean, they have to be on the planes w/everyone's pre-orders right? Right. :)

In the meantime, I'll call them 3x a day between now and Mon/Tues. :D

BTW, anyone think I could switch out or downgrade to a wired numeric keyboard in the store? Or would that be too easy?
 
Woke up this morning with a shipping notification from Apple. Delivery by Nov 13 if nothing changes! :D Thanks :apple:

May only apply to USA shipments. W653's got shipped first. Then W654's and so on. Think of it like a line at a deli. If people post the first 4 characters of their Order Number, you might get an indication of when your order might be preparing to ship. I ordered my i7 base config yesterday Nov 10th. That makes me a W657. I'll probably have mine shipped November 30th. :(
 
Those ship times are estimates. My i5 shipped China on 11/9. 11/10 it landed in Alaska. 6 hours later it was in Indianapolis. A couple of hours later it was in Michigan. Now it's on a truck to my house. I'm getting it two days early from the 11/13 target date. Hopefully the same will be true for you. For the past two days I've been stalking the tracking site on fed ex.
 
English speaking countries

It seems that all the English speaking countries are the only ones getting their iMac's shipped right now.

All I see is: USA, Canada, UK, Australia

Congrats to all you guys and I hope that us that ordered early in the EU (20th), will get a shipment notification soon too :)
 
Apple charged my credit card!

I ordered my i7 on November 6, 7am---

Order number is W6565......

Should it be shipping soon?

They charged my credit card but online it says not yet shipped
 
Darn it!

1 hour ago mine was shipped with 2 day, set to be delivered Friday.

Now it shows Shipping Exception, estimated delivery date 11/16.

The message is 'Package received after FedEx cutoff'
 
Ugh. Evil.

I get an email, of course I'm all excited to see if it's from Apple, but I'm not expecting too much since it's probably not. So I switch to Mail.app and see it's "From: Apple". Heart skips a beat. Then I look over to the subject and it turns out it's some Apple Store update in spanish. For some reason I get Apple Store updates in pretty much every language, I don't think I ever signed up for it. It's pretty annoying anyway, but now that I was expecting a shipment confirmation it was pretty sad to see it's just some Apple Store update...:mad:
