Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

Mine was shipped today though I don't
understand how I was upgraded to 2-day
shipping yet it is taking 3 business days
to get here.

Oh well, just happy it's on its way.
 
i7 Shipped!

Just noticed that my i7 has shipped via FedEx from Shanghai. It is estimated arrival is the 16th! United States.

Of course, I have to wait for my friend to mail it to me here in Turkey. That will probably take two weeks.

BTO so figure that will add a few days onto the waiting game HOWEVER as long as I get it by month end then all is good with me.
 
Shipped! Changed from In Process to Prepared for Shipment last night at 5:30PM (GMT-6). This morning it is shipped and I have a tracking number.

i7/4GB/Wireless/US (Stock)

My remote however has yet to be shipped. teehee.

My ship method was listed as "Priority" which was said to be "overnight".

It's actually HAPPPPPENNNING! And on a FRIDAY too! I'm changing my sig line to list the date! FOLKS - please when saying you have tracking, STATE WHERE YOU ARE.

EDIT: Est. Delivery in Fed Ex just went from 11/13 to 11/16 !!! damn!
 
Anybody in Europe (not UK), with an i7 order, who has anything else than "November" and "Not yet shipped" on their order?

I ordered on the 20th, 10 min. after the Store came online, and still nothing!?
 
i7 quad iMac ships

I ordered the 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 iMac on October 21st. As of yesterday (November 10th), the shipping status was "November." Then at 10:45pm PST yesterday, I received an email that it had shipped from Shanghai. We at Bare Feats Labs plan to do a shootout between it and the 2.66GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 and the 'early 2009' 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo.

Went to my Psychiatrist last night as I felt a bit uneasy having ordered the i7 and actually enjoying reading the posts on this thread. She told me that, like most others, I was showing signs of obsessing over the purchase and delivery of said item. She recommended I cancel and I hesitated at first but went to the Apple Online Store and checked the Cancel button. Bingo, I no longer have to worry about my order, when I ordered it, when it was going to change from Ships in November to some other category..... I felt peaceful....:)

Then I woke up and said to myself..' self, did that really happen?' Went to check my RSS feeds and Twitter account. Nothing too interesting, so I bopped over to MacRumors to get my daily chuckle. Apparently nothing changed as people were still posting the status of their orders... Some were jubilant while others were depressed.

Checked my email and what to my surprise..... An email from Apple titled, "Apple Store Shipment Notification". I said 'self, that must have been a dream". Sure enough, shipped from Shanghai on Nov 12, 2009 12:17AM. Looks like it is already tomorrow there. You have to love the FedEx tracking system. Like others, Apple email indicates 16th, FedEx indicates "Estimated Delivery Friday, Nov 13...."

For those interested, when I last looked at my order status on the Apple site last evening, it showed the old Not Yet Shipped Delivers in November status. Obviously it went from that status to shipped in less than 2 hours. Another 3.5 hours and it was on the plane and on its way to the USA (MA).

Oh, by the way... Stormy is now Steve Jobs new Administrative Assistant after all the good publicity she received on this thread. Go Stormy.....;)
 
My 27" imac custom shiped from China. It was ordered on Oct 20, 2009 at 01:15 PM PST. excited :D

It has shipped and on its way. Estimated delivery date is 11.16.09.

Has anyone's EDU order shipped?

I ordered a BTO I7 stock on Nov 2 and mine still says November.

How much longer do you think I have to wait?

My est. delivery went from Fri 11/13 to Mon 11/16 :(

I could cry. Was all excited about Friday. What happened to my "priority" overnight shipping?

Damn shipping exception:mad: Looks like monday now. At least it shipped:D One thing I hate FedEX for it that if it arrives early, they may not put it on the truck to deliver it Friday. If that's the case, I will go pick it up myself (I've had to do that before).
 
Well, mine still reads the same. Ships "November"

I ordered one the first day they were announced but then canceled my order and reordered 9 days later. (same machine but ordered through the education store the second time)

It will be interesting to see If I have to wait 9 more days for the thing to ship.......I hope not. I'm spending too much time reading this thread and checking my order status!
 
ZED - I have the EXACT same screen as you. Same times, etc. :(

Folks - if you saw arrival for Friday, please check again. The dates are changing to Monday at least for some. It just happened to me!

EDIT: Doesn't FedEx deliver on Saturdays? Why is it jumping from Friday to Monday?
 
i7 (initially i5 ordered on Oct 26th, but changed to i7 on Oct 31st, order number retained) order # w6546...

Pre-auth on 11/06. Packed for shipping on 11/10 and shipped on 11/11. Scheduled delivery is on 11/16 from China to NC (expedited shipping)
