I have the exact same thing. I have "not yet shipped" on my finnish site, but on the american it says "prepared for shipping". I even have pics (or it didn't happen).

edit: It's the i7 model.

Same for me comparing the Swiss and the US Apple Stores...

At least something is happening! ;)
 
Anybody in UK ordered iMac i7 or i5 on the 4 November, and got "prepared for shipment" or even have a tracking number ?
 
Weird, Apple tells me my i7 will be delivered on the 16th but FedEx tells me the 13th. I have 2 day shipping and I'm sure Fedex knows better now that it is in their hands.

Also, even though I have a tracking number and it left Shanghai 8 hours ago, my bank account still has not been charged.

I live in the Midwest USA.

Just ordered my i7 here in Japan today (11/11) and fully expect to wait several weeks before it finally gets here. The order page still shows "Shipping in November". I ordered it with the wired US English (BTO option here in Japan) keyboard with the numberpad.

I did check out a Core 2 Duo 27-inch machine at a store here and the screen was a thing of beauty! I'm really looking forward to taking delivery. :)

Even on the US Apple Store same status :mad:
 
My standard i5 now has the status "prepared for shipment".. I also ordered a Time Capsule, remote and printer.. because they ship it all in once, I'm thinking maybe my order is already somewhere in Europe. I ordered October 21st and only this morning my status changed.. So I'm hoping that maybe I'll get my order before or right after the weekend.. We'll see when I get a tracking number.

Haven't seen anyone one UK based who's ordered that recently post anything positive.

Seen a couple of UK 20th/21st Oct (me included) now have shipped status.

Download the widget "Junecloud Delivery Status" from Apple.com, or Google it ;)
When you have done so, you type your order number, let it update the delivery status, then double click on your order in the Widget window, it will take you to the american store. This only works if you're using a Mac
You could also try and go to Apple.com, then go to account and choose order status, then type in your order number.
This works regardless of your OS

Just checked UK site and it SAYS SHIPPED 11th for delivery 17th!

Now my UK delivery has changed to 13th - this Friday for my i7 ordered on the 20th. AWESOMENESS.
 
Ordered the 27" i7 with 8GB RAM on the 20th at 4:30ish PST and I just got my shipment notification with an expected delivery date of the 17th (I chose standard) by 4:30 pm via FEDEX.

Have been following this thread very closely too and it seems like the status of my iMac has just turned "Prepared for shipment"!
Now.. how can I sleep with all this excitement?! :D

Specs:
27" iMac Core i7, 2TB, 4GB memory (wil upgrade to 8gb myself)
Order placed on Oct 23, 2009 at 01:48 AM PST
 
ok got shipping info from apple email i7 shipped on 11 delivery on the 18 not sure if this the first aussie one but im excited
 
Prepared for shipment as of first thing this morning- i7 to the UK! however i'm sure i'm going to get bored of the prepared for shipment message. At the moment though i can even check my order status all i get is this when trying to view it anyone got the same?:

You lucky people in the world!!!i'm in spain and still say shipping in november!!!i ordered a i7 with 8gb ram on the 23rd of oct!!i hope they send it soon, can't wait to have my first iMac!!
