Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

Have one reserved at "Eplehuset" in Copenhagen and they said they would recieve it in one to two weeks.
What a coincidence, I also reserved mine from "Eplehuset" here in Oslo. So that means he's not talking BS.
(I've already bought a new desktop and a new chair to match the look of the iMacs!)

LMAO! Spend the time watching television? You do mean, "spend the time traveling the world, or helping some kids in Africa" don't you? Spending time watching television is as much of a waste of time as waiting somewhere in line. (Unless it's the History Channel, Discovery Channel, or Nat Geo Channel, of course.
The only reason I pay the ridiculous cable company is for these channels.. Good post...

US gets a lot of i5 and also i7
Australis seems to start also with i5 (?i7)
UK is starting too (it seems)
but has anybody from "continental" europe got delivery /shipment info
and when did you order guys ?

Recent posting on this thread have taken an endearingly desperate tone in anticipation of Quads being delivered. I especially like comments such as "he ordered his 45 minutes later than me - how come mine hasn't been shipped yet and his has?". Excitement is good, however desperation is a tad sad.
As long as we all get our Quads in the next 20 days then Apple have fulfilled their delivery promise of November - we've waited this long so a few more days won't kill us.

I only ordered mine once I started seeing movement on your orders, 9 November to be exact ... sort of regret that now as it seems to take forever Anyway I7 with 8GB of Ram + a Printer and Iworks. Already bought and installed the new Airport Extreme, new QNAP Nas + a new desk. All is ready and eagerly awaiting delivery of my I7 ... If only I had been blessed with Patience

Just ordered my i7 here in Japan today (11/11) and fully expect to wait several weeks before it finally gets here. The order page still shows "Shipping in November". I ordered it with the wired US English (BTO option here in Japan) keyboard with the numberpad.
I did check out a Core 2 Duo 27-inch machine at a store here and the screen was a thing of beauty! I'm really looking forward to taking delivery.
In the meantime continue to gloat over the Yankees World Series win. This is going to be a good month...... I live in Red Sox Nation and it has been hard these past several years. Finally vindication and someday soon a new iMac.

I ordered on Nov. 5th, and just noticed this morning that Apple put a pre-auth hold on my card. This is in addition to the amount I was charged for the printer I ordered at the same time which has already arrived. Seems like a good sign to me. Hopefully they'll get this thing shipped in the next week or so.

I'm going to bet that the first people are going to start receiving their quad iMacs today. If the first shipped on Monday, FedEx will likely deliver those shipped Monday, today. Let's see some benchmarks against the Core 2 Duo model!
