Whats wrong with it? :)
Well if you don't know what Breibart is, that would explain why I don't take any of your cut and paste from blogs strategy seriously...

Here's a hint: not everything on the internet is true. In fact the vast majority of the info on the net is either outright lies or uninformed opinions from anonymous posters. And yes, that also includes site like Anandtech or other tech sites. And the signal to noise ratio as been getting steadily worst in the last few years.

Just out of curiosity, have anyone of you claiming the site unreliable really read the article in the first place, to even check if it(the article) is reliable?

I am asking, because FUDzilla have had the same type of reputation. But lately they have very reliable information, especially the ones coming from backstage(especially when it comes to AMD).

Thats why I do have open mind, about information in the sites, because they can have access to very delicate information. And the key here is to get them out, from typical blubbery.

That's called: Confirmation Bias and it's a fallacy...

Meet KabyLake, same as SkyLake:

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/01/intel-core-i7-7700k-kaby-lake-review/

And the conclusion:

As it stands, what we have with Kaby Lake desktop is effectively Sandy Bridge polished to within an inch of its life, a once-groundbreaking CPU architecture hacked, and tweaked, and mangled into ever-smaller manufacturing processes and power envelopes. Where the next major leap in desktop computing power comes from is still up for debate—but if Kaby Lake is any indication, it won't be coming from Intel.

I suggest following the information they provided, about Vega months before any preview of architecture, and how it turned out in reality. Thats first example, easiest one to validate.

But hey, you are the expert here and knows better than they do.

Hey guys, we're getting closer... ;) Check this out

I'm all for AMD succeeding in this extremely uncompetitive environment and all, but WTF was that?

Seriously, who's in charge of AMD's marketing coming up with these stupid names and campaigns? First it was "ryzen" and now this?

That has to be the lamest video announcing "groundbreaking" technology... a ****ing kid walking down a road playing a drum and then encountering a warehouse with stacked drums. I know they're making a metaphor, but ****ing drums???

The worst part of the video is the "Make some noise" part...

The redeeming factor to all of this is that stock AMD Radeon cards are the only GFX cards with good industrial design. The things nVidia makes compared to AMD reminds me of cheesy import cars with huge spoilers.

You know guys what is the saddest thing? We can talk about what Intel, AMD, Nvidia will offer, but we have absolutely no clue whether Apple cares about it, at all.

Thats why I genuinely think that pretty much any hardware news is irrelevant in the context of Apple computers.

Thanks for proving my point...

Not Mac Pro related, but Intel released Kaby Lake CPUs. And they have lower prices ;).

7700T costs 272$ compared to 359 for 6700T. 7700 costs the same amount - 272$ compared to 329$ for 6700. And finally 7700K costs 305$ compared to 359$.

Finally the prices have dropped a bit.
Thats transaltes on more earnings on each mac sold, not on cheaper macs...

"Kenny, I can see you're really upset about this AMD marketing campaign. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over"

Guys, have you checked lower end prices, for example Intel Pentium CPUs?

2C/4T setups, with very high core clocks. And BARGAIN price. Check this out: http://ark.intel.com/products/97143/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G4560-3M-Cache-3_50-GHz

3.5 GHz, 2C/4T, and 64$! Intel just cleaned up AMD in this price range. Think about it. GTX 1050, plus this CPU and you have extremely capable budget computer! CPU, mobo, 8 GB of RAM can cost you around 130$, GPU 109$, SSD its up to anyone how much they need the performance and space. For under 300$ you can have extremely capable, basic computer.

Now, lets wait for Ryzen in consumer space.

But we are talking about a Mac Pro, not a mini.
