I still have no idea - like, none whatsoever - why it would matter to anyone whether they get a new phone a few hours earlier or later.
It's pretty hard to believe that people wouldn't have more important things to do than stand in line for hours to get a gadget a few hours earlier. Can someone explain this to me? What exactly is the difference between getting your phone at 10pm on the 29th, or at 9am on the 30th? I mean, who cares?
I bet if you just leisurely walked into a store at 11pm after the campers have been served and are hopefully gone you can just buy that thing like a normal person without making a big deal out of it. And if it's sold out (which will NOT happen at 98% of stores) -- well, go to the store down the road, or wait until tomorrow -- it's not exactly a reason to kill yourself over. Reality check, anyone?
